I'm Muslim, I've just recently discovered you guys, and I'm looking forward to every new video you post. I love how you present the decent, faithful, religious way of life as something fulfilling, beautiful, joyful and rewarding in a midst of this huge amount of online content that is not good for our soul. I love the realisation I've had watching your videos, and that is that Christianity and Islam have a lot of things in common, regarding one's self-respect, dignity of a soul, and all of the (primarily premarital) behavior that can violate our relationship with our Creator. I love your work. Keep it up guys! Sending you lots of love❤️

it really helps to see this right now. i just ended my relationship with my boyfriend of 11 months and best friend for 1 1/2 years. i was feeling God saying no to it and it really scared me at first, but i’m feeling a bit more confident in that choice because there were definitely some signs that he was not committed to his faith enough for us to stay at a level that made the both of us happy and secure, and i knew it was important for me to not be neglected spiritually. it’s really sad and hard to imagine anything better than our relationship, but i have hope God will allow me to heal from that and experience more beauty in the future even though it seems completely ambiguous at the moment. thanks for talking about these topics it really helps

To anyone reading this, you deserve the best, you deserve someone who will match your energy and lift you up when you’re down. You also deserve to be able to give and lift them up. If you’re in a dark place or feel like you may be contributing to the unhealthiness, then take some time to reflect and make changes within yourself before partnering with someone and expecting them to fill up your cup, this is where I am now and I want you to know that it’s okay to have regrets and acknowledge where you went wrong, bring your mistakes to the light and work on them so you can move forward as a whole person 💛

You don’t just speak about Jesus you live like Him and watching your videos, the Lord just put it on my heart that we can have all the head knowledge but it means nothing if we don’t have the heart knowledge and the willingness to let Him lead our lives to even the smallest details ! Chad and Tori, thank you for letting Jesus echo through all you do. It is so evident that He is your guy’s ALL and I want to strive for that! I want to KNOW Him not just KNOW ABOUT Him. In two weeks the Holy Spirit has shown me so much through you both and to list them all on here would be impossible! Thank you for loving like Jesus! God Bless 🤍🤍

So, my husband and I have been married for over a year, we go to church every Sunday, we did premarital counseling, we pray together (pretty much just before meals and the “typical” times to pray). However, I feel like I am the one always trying to initiate prayer, devotion, fellowship with other couples, reading the Bible etc. I am constantly talking to God all day long, I’m in my Bible, and I feel like my relationship with God is the highest and best it has ever been. (Please keep in mind that I am not trying to sound like I am praising myself or anything like that because all the credit goes to God and God alone). My point is, I feel like my husband isn’t trying to lead us like Christ has called him to. I feel like he is just going through the motions. I don’t ever see him read his Bible, pray, etc. I know no one is perfect and I try to see the log in my own eye first, but it has really been weighing on me and I don’t want to tell him all of this and make it seem like I think I’m better than him, but idk what to do at this point except to pray. I could really use some advice from you guys and anyone who has experience with this. And if you don’t have experience or advice, I just ask you to please pray for our marriage and this topic that has been weighing on me. Thank you 💖

This was so good!!! 🙌🏼❤️ One piece of advice I heard that changed my approach to dating, is to ask myself if I am the person, the person I'm looking for is looking for?? I think Andy Stanley said it.. Instead of focusing so heavily on what the other person is or isn't, who are we? We all want someone patient and kind, but that person isn't always gonna be those things and make the relationship a breeze all the time. They still matter, but a relationship is a two way street!! We need to check ourselves out and ask for God to convict/change us in whatever way we are walking in relationships that isn't Christ like.❤️

I don’t have a lot of friends and I’m grateful for that. When I was eight years old, mom told me, “The more ‘friends’ you have, the harder it is to trust them (or the more people you have to trust, something like that).” I agree with that. Something that the Lord told me months ago that was just so spot-on was, *“Any type of relationship you have with individuals such as family, friends, significant other, etc., if they aren’t leading to Christ, they shouldn’t be in your life.”* I was like, *“Lord, say no more, I GOT YOU.”*
@bishnya213 жыл бұрын
I totally get that but what about unchristian cousins that you grew up with and non believing coworkers, it’s very hard to have relationships with people that are Christians AND on the same level of Christianity as you because your constantly surrounded by all types of people. I’ve had questions about this my whole life so it’s def something I’m still wondering. God bless💕

I don’t think you have to know or discern whether someone is the person you should marry right at the beginning stages of a relationship, but of course there are red flags and things to look out for. Dating exists for evaluation, so we find out through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and spending time with this person, watching their character, etc. if they are the person you want to move forward into engagement and marriage with. :)

understand where you guys are coming from @masters. maybe it's just semantics, but i do feel it's important to be careful with the ways we call things a blanket 'red flag' in someone/a relationship. if on the receiving end and someone says there is a 'red flag' - it can be pretty hurtful and unkind. everyone has issues and stuff they are working through. this does not always = red flag.

I took SERIOUS NOTES😂 I feel like God keeps prompting this to me. Like little soft nudges. Like “pst hey Cassie pray for future hubs”. I can definitely relate to getting into a relationship and being in the sunk-cost fallacy. I didn’t see it that way at the time necessarily, but looking back I realize it was a big portion. It’s hard letting go, but God’s plans are so worth it. Without it I probably wouldn’t have found Christ, or it would be delayed. I really do look up to you guys as mentors, your love for Christ and each other is encouraging and uplifting. Sending love and prayers your way!🤍
