Much enjoy these videos and your reasonable, calm assessments. Suggestion 1: Please add the player’s position when you show their stats for defenseman include whether they’re LD or RD. That’s for those of us who aren’t as familiar with these players as some are. Suggestion 2: Please include the player’s age in their stats, too. Age obviously plays a big role in a player’s upside or downside potential.

Good vid as always man, glad hockey is almost back. Was wondering about Cutter Gauthier and if he’d be a good pick since he’s probably next to Leo Carlson and Killorn, good chance of making pp1 as well.

I like Gauthier a lot, but I have my reservations. He could very well be on the "1st unit" but it won't be a dedicated 1st unit in the sense that they usually take those guys off a minute in. It caps the ceiling for all the Ducks players which sucks for fantasy. I could see him on the 3rd line to start the year as well. Future 40-goal scorer but not sure about his production this season.

@@firedupfantasyworth noting that Newell Brown, the PP coach notorious for evenly distributing the times of the each PP unit (sometimes even favoring the veteran unit) is no longer employed by the Ducks.

@@matthewkabel6246 Good point. I still think they'll mix things up/evenly distribute the units because they have Zegras, Terry, Gauthier, Vatrano, McTavish, and Carlsson. Leaving 2 of those 6 off the PP1 is tough

Can't really give an exact number without knowing the league settings but I'd imagine he would be drafted in the top 200. Shots aren't that good but he's good for 100 hits if he plays a full season

I'd hate to see Skafkovsky or Caufield get demoted in favor of Laine. As a Habs fan, I wasn't happy to hear about this trade, but I do have full faith in Kent Hughes and his vision, along with St. Louis behind the bench. I suppose we'll see.

Not sure, I'm assuming they'll run a split with him and Kochetkov. Don't like either of them in a points league because of this. Freddy is a bandaid so would rather take a flyer on Koch

There were contests throughout the season like a Tuesday Snipe where it was just one night but to my understanding the rest were weekly. At least the only ones I did were scored weekly. Not 100% sure

Philly didnt go out and grab a centre… they also added Michkov who will likely play on a line with him. There’s no question he’s gained some value in fantasy this off-season PLD also was unlikely to get back on PP1 with the Kings and now he gets a fresh start on the Caps. That’s why he’s a riser.
