The 40 series is an Arkanna body. They were locally built bodies fitted to a 45 series. I had one.

That’s what we thought. It also had black out lights and the switches, did the military run some arkana 40’s?

@@OverlandTravellers Possibly but I don't know for sure. They had a factory in Landsdale (suburb of Perth) and built many for the tourist and mining industry. Dual cabs too. They won some government contracts but lacked capacity and I believe it sent them broke. I had a 1973 FJ45 with an F motor which i replaced with a Chev V8. I sold it to a manager of a remote community when I lived in Derby. Wish I still had it.

Congrats 🥂over the top OT again. Did anyone else wish the episode ending, the last drone shot, the one with best ever light, could go on a loop for 10 minutes? Best eva drone shot. Well, maybe top ten, definitely. Really good :)

If walking the rock to the top, they ask you to sign in at the nearby Mount Augustus caravan park. This is so a search party can be organised to come find you if you're lost, broken or have die like some have unfortunately. Great footage of a great area.

The sunset and sunrise view of Mt Augusta is so majestic. The color tone is just so incredible. We missed this spot because we drove straight to Karijini from the Python Pool. Your drone shots and editing showcase the wonderful view of Mt Augusta 😍
