I live in central pa. Winters that have heavy, long laying snow do seem to focus deer around water. I think anyone would piece together deer can eat snow. Water isnt hard to come by, water it usually in low lying areas and melts the area near its flow. They dont stay close for the water itself, but the vegetation it exposed and low land it usually flows through.

That’s pretty sweet… when I was ten I found a match set in my back yard. The left side scored 96 6/8 and the right side scored 92 1/8 but it’s so chewed up and is missing multiple times. Never got it officially scored and am curious to know how to.

We are just trying to bring what we love to other people. We enjoy sharing videos and pictures of these deer and antlers to other people who have the same addiction as us. Antlers are such a cool part of nature and deserve for people to see them and enjoy them.

You will definitely go long periods of time without finding them. Most years we are averaging 60 to 70 miles of walking so it ends up being about 1 mile of walking for each shed. Sometimes you’ll find a bunch in one area and sometimes you walk all day and don’t find anything.
