Sadly, our country often emphasizes a negative narrative about China concerning national security and intellectual property. While there might be some truth to these concerns, they are often exaggerated to slow down the competition, as seen with Huawei and the upcoming DJI drone bans. My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. I thought the largest mall was South China Mall in Dongguan, which had a reputation as a "ghost mall" after it opened because it was built in a bad location without decent access to public transport in a working class city. That mall has subsequently been filled but it took a long time. I was in Wuhan last year. I briefly went to a huge shopping mall in Optics Valley at night after visiting Huazhong University. I don't think it's the same mall - your one is taller. Anyway, I'm not that into malls. I go sightseeing instead. I went for a long walk all around the city, and did about 30 km on either side of the Yangtze River. 😄
