It's so cool to see the space coming to life, I wish I had an IKEA near me when building my studio! But please, please, please be careful with those lighting circuits, It's scary to see someone grab round the back of an exposed switch like that(6:57). Hopefully there is a good RCD in the electric circuit but you can never be sure! Just speaking from experience and an engineering diploma, we don't want to see you hurt. Turn off circuits before working on them people :) Also, the vlog music was so good! Michael

After Laptop, Headphone, Abelton, are these the items in order to buy? 1. Microphone (Blue Ember or Rode) 2. Audio Interface (SteinBerg U12 or Focusrite 18i20?) (Or which one has strong PreAmps?) 3. Midi Keyboard (Arturia or Novation or M-Audio or Korg or Komplete Kontrol?) 4. Active Monitors (which one has balanced output to connect directly to Audio Interface?) 5. Monitor Speakers (Yamaha or Presonus?) Also, my laptop has only 3.5mm headphone Jack. How do I connect microphone and then use both at the same time?

assuming that you would buy an audio interface, you would connect both your headphone and microphone to the audio interface so no need of the lappy's 3.5mm jack which has bad DAC to run studio headphones anyway. But I'm a noob too so do your research thing haha
