I swear Joel spoke so much and ate in slow motion throughout this video and still finished comfortably way before the other guy. It's amazing to watch!

Yea, I almost felt like he was talking too much. He was stalling so that he didn’t completely leave the other dude in the dust. He does that often when he eats with other people.

I think what I like most about Joel compared to other competitive eaters is that he actually enjoys the food, talks about it and tells us how good it is, and compliments the chef/s when they deserve it. And if the food is bad, well...Joel isn't rude. He just won't say ANYTHING! Lol! 😁 Any restaurant would be lucky to have this man as a guest. And in most cases, the owner/s should be prepared for a HUGE business increase! Way to go Joel! I don't know where you put it son! Lol!! 😘

I like how they both ate slow and enjoyed the food. A lot of pro eaters race thru everything without ever tasting the food, which I consider insulting to the cooks/ chefs who prepare the meal. Joel is always a class act and one of the most enjoyable to watch. We get to learn about the restaurants and get commentary on all the amazing food.

If someone asked me "if you weren't American but had to be British or Italian which would u be?" I'd say British, only because I feel Italians are kinda fussy and as a man too feminine. I do love Enzo/Ferrari but im more of an Aston Martin and McLaren fan...plus Italy has to many food rules to live by.

That steak looked amazing but it looks like they didn't put enough salt on it for you. We all know you love your salt. I love when you travel and show us the rest of the world and their food.
@Vincent_Beers7 ай бұрын
With meat this size, you actually have to be conservative on the salt during preparation. It's so large that you would oversalt the outside before the interior has enough. The key is to use just enough to season the crust and let the customer grind pepper and salt at the table for dipping during the meal. The meat juice from the interior blends while you're eating this way.

@hanikrummihundursvin7 ай бұрын
in my opinion (which is mine, you and your viewers are entitled to theirs): If you need to add salt as well as spice to your meat, it was presented bland to you. All salvageable by adding salt and spice, but for 95 bucks (and change) it really ought to have been salted and spiced to perfection to begin with.
@angelh16087 ай бұрын
100% agree!
@m18m407 ай бұрын
True but i prefer it that way as opposed to something over seasoned there’s no going back
@Ultra-Collector7 ай бұрын
It’s a thick cut so only the outside is spiced,it also has a high fat content which melts into the steak giving it a great flavor and taste. The salt and pepper is a preference. That Tomahawk was cooked perfectly and tasted spectacular! I guarantee!

They have a 48oz steak where if you finish it, they would give you a voucher for a free one. 48oz Delmonico with a side of potatoes and a 40oz beer is in my top 5 largest meals.
