I am a Fat Lord Worshiper myself and I must praised how far and colourfull you've walked on the path . there's something really magic about the Fat Book , the price for the number of pages feels liberating , but there's something about the paper and that square format that turns even messy swatches into refined minimalist abstract and even if it's not the best skatchbook for more finished painting it can still handle that quite smoothly . i'm still haflway through mine , wich is nice because you've just gave me loads of inspiration to explore it in new ways , specially the Giant full page swatches like the one you've made for teal 1 and 2 (😉casual mvp😉) are absolutly delightfull . and overall you've done so much tedious editing work to include all those glimpses of painting footage . thank you !! it really turns the flip through into a magical experience . thank you 💜💜💜💜💙💙💙💙

I love love this sketchbook, even willing to pay shipping. The pages are thin but can withstand a fair amount of water. I then bought the samlller but thicker pages from Khadi from Amazon. My fav sketchbooks

I remember the video where you started the KHADI FATBOOK. I’ve had trouble getting one. The only one I found was not cheap and the shipping cost more than the sketchbook itself. Thanks so much for showing us. It was very enjoyable. Love your videos and your work! I think the color is turquoise.

The whole completed book is beautiful and colorful, and your florals are so joyful! It’s nice to have such a large collection of pages of practice pieces, experiments, swatches, etc. to flip through to get inspired! Re: teal vs turquoise…there is such a range from masstone to light wash that it’s hard to pick. I think I would avoid having to decide between teal and turquoise and call them Carribean Sea 1 and 2!

I'm really surprised at how well the KHADI Fat Book handles really wet washes! Even though it's cotton and sized, it looks a bit absorbent!. Loved hanging out and seeing your artistic wanderings!

Hi, I'm back...lol. I watched till the end and I believe the name for the color would be Teal💚💙 Yesterday, my husband and I went to a new location for us to witness Short Eared Owls and while admiring the owls I sketched and thought a lot about sampling my watercolors. Which brand do I like the best. I also played with my brushes, some I don't like the performance at all. Had I not took the time to review the swatches, I would never understood the usage of my brushes. I believe I will get the Khadi Fatbook for more exploring what I like and don't like while keeping my "precious to me sketchbooks" for plain Aire time. Thanks again, I've learned so much watching your videos 😍

I bought a small Khadi sketchbook this past summer and have loved playing in it. There’s something about it for me that is less precious and more freeing than other sketchbooks. Maybe the price? Maybe the paper texture? Don’t know, but I’m about to hit the purchase button on the fat book since my smaller one is almost full. Thanks for sharing!

I would call it turquoise, teal always seems more green to me. I would inwardly cringe when a customer came to my yarn shop asking for either of those colors. I almost never had exactly the color they had in mind. Your khadi fatbook is beautiful.

Hey Alex :D :D I wish I could tell you there is a magic trick but there isn't one lol, i think there is less texture when I use the acrylic inks or a heat gun but otherwise any changes were probably on the page already x

I ordered a Khadi fat book and some Roman Szmal paints after watching your videos. They look like a lot of fun. I’m in the U. S. and I was so sad that FedEx was holding my package at customs because they wanted to know what size the book was and if it was lined. That was really weird since the size was on the order form but after a phone call and 2 weeks total they finally came today! My packaging had a huge hole in the side and my fat book looked like it had some water damage. If I like the book, I want to get more but I’m not sure if it will be held up again. The price is sure nice for them and they didn’t have the big fat books on Amazon US. I just saw your new RS essentials pallette and I love those new colors. I did make it through the end of your video and it looks like a turquoise to me.

Do u just add different amount of white to get the different shades on your handmade watercolors? And….Do u add granulation medium to get a granulation color or does granulation come from pigment powder itself?

I used the same white (pw6) and the granulation came from the pigment itself ❤️ thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy making your own watercolours as much as I did. I just started by watching a few KZbin videos and complementing it with what I know about pigments already
