Hello and thank you so much for this great instructional video. I have some loose watercolor papers but don't know how to tell whether they are Cellulose. I would like to know if I can use Gouache on Strathmore 400 Series Oil Painting Paper.

Glad it was helpful! 100% cotton paper is usually quite clearly written /advertised on the paper packaging itself, if it’s not mentioned, I’d assume it’s cellulose. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter what it is made off if you enjoy using it. I’m sorry I don’t know about oil paper. Happy painting xx

I don't have a firm favourite. Yet! Based on what I have bought I definitely seem to like blue-green paints. And purples, never a bad purple. Excited to buy the black and play around with stuff I already have.
