Just bought a MK1 Raleigh Tuff Burner. Those Skyway Mags are sweet. Smooth as the day they were made. The only downside is it attracts too much attention, all positive but I'm always paranoid it attracts thieves as well. It's the bike I always wanted as a kid and eventually got one. Sure the bike is as old as I am but it's been worth it, every second. Like this kid in the video, This was me but with the Tuff Burner.

Blimey, Phil Redmond - Grange Hill and later Brookside. Top man. This will mean nothing to the non-UK viewers or kids who didn't grow up in the late 70s and early 80s. Officially the best time ever to be a British kid. :)

I can remember waiting months to be able to buy a new part for my BMX bike. It's sad to see kids steal just to have a bit of fun. I always felt bad for having 2 bikes when other kids couldn't even afford one. But I was never a jerk about it....never made fun of anyone for not having a cool bike or any bike at all for that matter.

I never saw this short movie growing up in the 80's. No wonder I was chased 4 miles after leaving a shopping mall by a gang of 8 older High School kids when I was in Middle School age 15 for my expensive sky blue and white $350 1986 GT Pro Performer Freestyle Bike. Luckily I was so scared thinking that they'll beat me up and steal my bike. I lost them one by one on a 4 mile bike chase. Those kids must of saw this movie on TV how to steal a bike, but will they return it feeling guilty and remorseful. I highly doubt it.

I loved bmx back in the day ,started off on some 1980s ammaco race bike,in 1993,but it was clean.araya wheels, flight cranks and all chrome frame and forks.bmx was pretty much dead then,ID get dissed by MTB riders daily.I started ordering bmx plus from smiths, and that's where it all changed.I was riding Street and mini ramp,on a,1980s race bike and learning tricks from magazines. My mum got me a 1994 dyno slammer Xmas 94 Man I loved that bike but it was so heavy.man I miss the old skool.radlands and southsea skate park,Im now 41 and want to ride again so much.
