THE BIKERIDERS captures a rebellious time in America when the culture and people were changing. After a chance encounter at a local bar, strong-willed Kathy (Jodie Comer) is inextricably drawn to Benny (Austin Butler), the newest member of Midwestern motorcycle club, the Vandals led by the enigmatic Johnny (Tom Hardy). Much like the country around it, the club begins to evolve, transforming from a gathering place for local outsiders into a dangerous underworld of violence, forcing Benny to choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club.

When this movie hit theaters I wanted to go see it so badly. Finally, I thought an original big screen production based on a true story about MC Culture from nearly the beginning. This movie is absolutely awful, & quickly made its way to "in theater rental" markets. At first you notice it's narrated which some find annoying but I usually don't mind. This is different, there's an actress imitating an exaggerated Midwest to Milwaukee accent, and it's absolutely skull drilling for nearly two hours, she never shuts up. The movie is about HER, not the club, the characters, the scene, the setting "or nothin" as she'd say. I'd much rather have a slightly more Hollywood picture, based on a true story without the hokey charm. It doesn't have to be SOA or Mayans level drama, but this film leaves much to be desired. I'm glad I didn't go see it in theaters, and you should wait until it comes out on Freevee in a few months.
