I remember being about 10, the house was dark because I forgot to put the lights on, curtains were still open though so I could see the street lights. Nobody was home, maybe my brother. Looking for the remote in the dark that’s somewhere on the floor. I’m only a short arms length because I’m laying on the sofa. Don’t find the remote, only find the saucer with crusts of my jam sandwich I made about 4 hours before after I got home from school. Don’t want to do home work. Probably still got my school trousers on. Better get them off before mum comes home and asks me why Im still in uniform. Abit hungry- Dad might bring fish chips home. Can’t find the remote... The Bill intro starts... it’s a Tuesday in 1996
