I don't think most people understand the term "net wealth" like Djokovic or any other top player have the backing / sponsorship of organizations that hold a lot more than 1.5billion in Net wealth. Her dad can't just pull 1.5bil out of an ATM but Nike could put you on the TV in every home in the US.

I don't know what the backstory is that lead to the Qinwen incident. Maybe there's some legitimacy to the matter. But until I'm aware of more details, I'm going to say that Emma should've confronted Qinwen privately behind the scenes rather than making an issue of it on the Olympic stage. It comes off as poor sportsmanship on Emma's part when the public isn't privy to knowing all of the details.

Qwein should not even consider trying to change who she is . Serena never did , Martina, Sharapova ,Hingis , Stephanie , did not change for anyone . When dad is billionaire , I guess they get control and influence in the media , even without asking. The ones publishing this do not want to offend the daughter of a billionaire or say something unfavorable.

It's Navarro's brain that makes her special. She keeps her head in matches and just keeps her opponents off their game. As far as the Zheng comments are concerned, she said it and she should explain herself. I thought Zheng handled this awkward situation very well. I've never seen her do anything questionable so I believe anything Navarro questions about Zheng can probably be put down to very different cultures.

more like being a trust fund baby gives you a handy edge in tennis ... and everything in life. with two billionaires' daughters among the top 100 WTA players (that's millions times higher frequency than by chance), clearly indicates that being able to afford the best training and coaches is a significant advantage
@jeffrx

That’s a fact, because in tennis training and lessons mean a lot. It’s not like other sports. There is a huge cost to get to the college or pro level. You don’t see many rich kids in sprinting or in the NFL. Tennis is different. I’m not saying they don’t have talent. They are immensely talented. More than 99% could ever be. But they started on third base for sure, and they didn’t get only three outs, they got unlimited outs.

Collins in grand slam final just couple year ago. When you hear billionaire family, you might think Navarro BIG 'party crasher.' In some way it do appear she like materialize at ranking 15. Course. Actual player or insider gonna know a possible different take. Definitely BIG plus for WTA. Plus. Gauff lose enough to her, like yesterday afternoon at US Open, she gonna play better, too.
