Life is a romp through the chocolate factory, its charms so distracting one can sometimes forget the culling of companions occurring right before our eyes. And, ultimately, unlike the titular Charlie, we ourselves are not spared.

I. F’ing. Love. You. One reason why I f’ing love you is because your videos always make me think and learn. For instance, I just looked up the definition of the mathematical term “multiplicity” because of this video. I could explain why, but it’s math and math is boring but I love it anyway. Odd, yes, but so what. I’ve known since I was first aware of anything that I’m odd on a lot of different levels, that I'm circumscribed by contradiction where consistency is preferred and variety where uniformity is privileged; and, as such, one of the things that makes me most optimistic is pessimism. I don’t know where that originates, or why that’s so. Probably something to do with my parents being patient and wonderful. Regardless, I do know that after living a few years and losing a lot more than most, I am certain that nothing ever ends because everything is always ending. There is no attainment because everything is becoming. There is no annihilation, also, because everything is becoming. Disillusion with becoming is fear. Enjoyment with becoming is hope. If I may indulge in Yoda-ese for a moment: neither matters not for there is no becoming, nothing is predetermined because there is no pre- and there is no post-. All is present and all is saved and all is doomed all at once forever. Coincidentally (if such things as coincidences even exist), I was talking with my 70 year old mom yesterday about one of my favorite KZbin videos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXOYZ4idmtSFmrc here. Like almost every other person with whom I’ve ever shared the science and thought that underly this video, Mom thought it was sad. What is more final-devastatingly final-than the heat death of the universe, eternal loneliness in the eternal darkness and absolute zero cold of space, after all? Yet, for me, I see it as incredibly beautiful as it describes to me an intrinsic and eternal depth within depth, universes within universes, existence within existence, time within time. Warmth lies deep at the core of coldness, and coldness lies deep within warmth, and ends and beginnings are this way, too. It’s possible-maybe even probable-that our universe is a particle in another place that I will never know, never even imagine. I f’ing love that. tldr: Yes, tiramisu is good, Jeff. FFS, dude, enjoy it.

This video made me feel and think a lot of things, most of which are so intense and, admittedly, rather confusing to articulate properly, but it did certainly hit home and, in the end, felt reassuring... I don't know if anything I could try to say would do my thoughts justice or, conversely, end up missing the point of expression by coming out too verbose, presumptuous, and/or outright inappropriate (as I don't do this talking/commenting thing often haha), but the short version is that your videos have just come to mean so much to me personally far beyond ASMR, and I'm glad you share your thoughts, talent, and craft with the world. c: Also the joke at 43:12 freaking killed me.

In regard to your point made at 21:16 regarding determinism. My (very basic) understanding of quantum mechanics is that it is impossible to know the exact location as well as exact velocity of a subatomic particle (uncertainty principle). That would mean it is impossible to ever know the paths these subatomic particles will take, which makes it impossible to predict a beings reaction to a certain input. So no determinism here. However the broader idea of us being heavily if not completely steered by past and/or present stimuli of course remains valid.
@viktorsan7701
@viktorsan7701 5 жыл бұрын
Check out superdeterminism. It states the opposite. Pretty cool but I don't understand anything so I'm just leaving it here. On a side note, even if we couldn't know and predicy subatomic particles, the same would not necessarily be true about bigger bodies.
@codyi5232

Quantum gravitation is literally the inertia and momentum of other localities pulling upon the general resonance of your individuation, for the singular awareness is the 5th localization in a 13d model. So, in less esoteric terms , the voice in your psyche , the pull of habit - that is literally the mean , median, and mode across the multiverse keeping you average . Therein , aberrations and anomalies , bright burning stars and black holes of the human condition will present and diminish in a similar nature as the celestial events and higher mysteries of nature that defy the vacuum of nothing averages we call the void .
@ChuckNorrizHIM
@ChuckNorrizHIM 5 жыл бұрын
@@codyi5232 I'd propose that was all esoteric
@codyi5232
@codyi5232 5 жыл бұрын
ChuckNorriz can’t help it. I’d say it was coincidence , ur we both know that is folly . I was reading an article about sympathetic resonance when I received your reply notification- which is a double entendres , you replied to me because something I said resonated you , or the idea of you- and then in a snap, of material light speed or quantum non locality we were again entangled. The article was about the concept where in outside stimulus will influence a sleeping dreamer that the dreams with precipitate and anticipate stimulus and organically assimilate the stimulus into the dream state. Comparison was made to invisible forces in the quantum field theory that reality is a dream state that exotic principles of consciousness like déjà vu coincidence and synchronicity could be the same sympathetic residence field that affects dreaming perception however in the woken state of consciousness the same concepts and energy create the same symptoms just a different perception. I can’t help but see the parallels there in both the macro and microcosm. Have a great day.

Firstly, you don't have to watch it. Second, your anxiety is caused by your own thoughts about the subjects. If the subjects are difficult for you to deal with you should spend some time coming to terms with them. What he says isn't the truth its just a viewpoint. I am not bothered by what he says because Ive already thought about these subjects and have my own viewpoints on them that don't cause me anxiety.

I've been through a lot so this kind of topic gives me not that much stress right now. But please anytime you post a video which points in the direction of existence or matters and these unspeakable occurances just put on a warning before the video begins. I know how extremely destructive and sudden can be an existencial crisis and it's not anything that I would wish for the unprepared. Many of them are unprepared for this and it can cause them too much stress by getting this topic in a bigger dosis. These talks about certain areas can lead to depression, mental illnesses and social introversion. Topics like this should be taken lightly yet there are people who are very prone to overthink things. So please keep it in mind and try to protect those who are not prepared for such talks. Thank you! Anyway it was artisticaly and philosophicaly perfect :)

Free will is the difference between fate and destiny. FW is only a temporary diversion, leading to a fated event, that returns you to the path of destiny. This isn’t particularly novel, but I’m not sure it matters very much if we _do_ have free will. Determinism is likely, but we continue to act as if we have free will regardless. We all make the choices we make and go on with our lives, and I’m not sure it has much bearing on life if those choices are free or determined. It’s an interesting philosophical argument for sure, just not something I feel is necessary to think much about outside of a philosophy class or salon hosted with pretentious friends. Ps. I've lost countless pets because of people and some natural causes(sadly non are age wise), I've lost a good amount of friends from suicide, lost family members because of poor life choses. But oddly enough, saying lost isn't correct in my eyes, for someone/pet dying and being ultimately forgotten -unless you did something great- i would personally call it, "releasement", not replacement but a form of release and to spice it up, end it with "ment" because english. The releasement of a being you know, can have a strange and most of the times, self harming/devastating effects, why be sad about one's releasement? Why not have some drinks in honor and memory of the being, there will be a less of a harmful effect on the sensitive kind. Sensitivity is a must in a collective society but it could also be the reason why it stopped being a collective society in the end. But for my main point is: the releasement of one's known being shouldn't be in a form sadness, why assume all the small "greatness" of the relased being and not just celebrate it like a very well captured photo's of a supernova, the time is over for the being, the last thing that being needs is more sadness around it. We should: expect and embrace the thought and futures event of death and hardships.
