The spikes from Mama Gurdy are avoidable. When she goes away to spawn them you, stand still. Even if they spawn under Isaac, you'll have a small moment where you can get away without taking damage.

SarahMariePardy NL inspired me to get the game. I had watched his content for probably a year, and by then I knew about as much about the game as him. I started playing the game thinking it would be easy, but that game is fucking difficult. Eggman makes it look pretty easy.

NL is really good at half the game. His dodges are better than I could ever pull off, and he's pretty good at guessing secret rooms. But; he said the clicker wasn't worth it, even though it would actually make him invincible. Also, no key meta was a thing.

If you get fired, you dont get a severance package. Severance packages only happen if you quit of your own accord, before they fire you.

I think getting fired is far worse than being allowed to resign. For the 'you're fired' VS. 'I quit' thing, I believe that being fired stays on your record and makes it more difficult to get a job. Resigning is better in terms of future job prospects and, depending on what you are getting fired for, resigning allows you to use your accrued vacation days upon your last payout (at least where I work that's what happens).

Jim Zhang the main reason companies force people to retire over being fired is because if you retire instead of being fired you lose out on being able to get unemployment and might lose some benefits like severance packages (depending on the company and what your position is in the company obviously) Edit: speaking from an American perspective, unsure how it works in other countries.

Generally, the employer pays severance if get fired/laid off, but not if you quit. I don't think getting fired makes it hard to get future jobs unless it's an established pattern. The app & interview are all about finding the context of these kinds of things so hiring agents can find good workers regardless of past situations.
