Cursed Eye ends up being a powerful item due to this, as it causes Incubus to fire three tears per shot with no charging, while Lilith doesn't have to worry about getting teleported by accident as she cannot charge up.

Ok, so I am going to beat a dead horse here and once again talk about the fact that many tear effects that simply don't work with Incubus. People have given me the argument that it is as intended because Incubus is powerful enough on its own, and doesn't need functional tear effects. Perhaps Box of Friends is powerful (I'd dispute that as well considering 4 tick charge), but Incubus by its lonesome, is not. That said, my argument today is Sinus Infection. This item works with Incubus! How about that? If Incubus is too powerful, then why does one of the most powerful tear effects work just fine with it, whereas others that are less effective, do not? Again, as always, my overall point is to suggest that the reason many tear effects don't work with Incubus in the first place is _not_ because it was intentional, but because of oversight followed by apathy. And again, as always, can someone please mod this shit in to fix it?!

Lilith is easily my least favourite character; she's frustrating and may have been cool in concept but in practice is just cumbersome and weak without being interesting like the Keeper. The fact that many tear effects don't work is adding insult to injury. And yet I have 900 hours in Isaac, what am I doing oh god

@@wertleman Yeah, I'm up there in hours myself. Tbh, except The Lost/Keeper, Lilith is my favorite. I aim pretty well with her and I generally have a bit more fun doing so. Using her sorta reminds me of drifting in a car, if that makes any sense. And it's because she's my fave to play that I'm so aggravated that this hasn't been taken care of yet. I've asked modders about it, but I never get any replies, so idk if it's doable with the tools we've been given. I was actually really surprised that Sinus Infection/Eye of Belial worked with Incubus. You know, now that I think about it, I'm realizing that many (not all) tear effects from Rebirth and Afterbirth don't work, but almost all (if not all) tear effects from AB+ and onwards seem to work just fine. That again, makes me think that it was an oversight. Heck, even if the original intention was to keep her nerfed by not allowing those effects to work, then allowing all the newer ones to work just fine would be the oversight. Big oof. I might make a list of which ones don't work (though I'm sure it exists somewhere). Idk what I'm gonna do with it, but perhaps if it's not fixed when (and if) Repentance comes out, I'll bite the bullet and learn enough LUA to make this happen, even if only for my own amusement.
