Podcast recommendation that I truly think you'd enjoy: No Such Thing as a Fish. It's a podcast by the researchers behind the British panel show QI, where they each present their favourite fun fact they've come across that week. It's a great mix of humour and obscure knowledge. Also there's no barrier of entry even if they've done almost 400 episodes, you can jump in wherever or listen to any episode at any point.

So I don't play MOBAs, but based on NL's advice it seems that when playing you should: 1. Log off when you're in a good mood while playing one. And 2. Log off when you're in a bad mood while playing one. It seems like the takeaway here is to always log off when playing MOBAs lol

The "Just Interesting" podcast is a hidden gem. Featuring 3 friends, it starts with them each sharing something interesting they found out that week (unusual/little known facts and history). The middle is a deep dive into a subject they've chosen for each podcast. The ending is a quiz that rotates between 2 of the 3, and they keep a running score tournament style. Truly a gem of a podcast that needs way more attention than it has. Hope you give it a try!

IMO: Damocles would have been a tactical and possibly great pickup this run. Death at any moment sounds scary, but Nl uniquely has Lazarus’s Rags, which would have resurrected him after the death, assuming it was to happen at all. This would likely result in a loss of HP, however perhaps not that great as NL was already but in return would have provided double items from pedestals across 3 more floors with item rooms, plus at minimum a few boss items. Something to think about!

Podcast recs: Futility Closet is about interesting trivia / stories from the not too distant past, with a bonus lateral thinking puzzle to wrap things up! Episodes are 30+ minutes. Reply All is about various things, but I would recommend starting with the two-part episode Long Distance, which is about telephone scam calls. Together, they're 1.5 hours. I also like The Soundtrack Show occasionally (surprise, it's about soundtracks). 40-70 minutes long episodes.

I really like the History of Philosophy without any Gaps podcast, like most podcasts it is best listened to in order but you don't actually need to. If there is anyone you want to hear about in particular you can go to those episodes right away. For example there are episodes about Marcus Aurelius if wanted to learn more on him. Also some of the old philosophers have got to be content goldmines, the ancients got really zany in ways that don't happen anymore. You got guys like Parmenides out there trying to prove that change isn't real via raw logic. Or Hereclitus doing philosophy just with one liners such as "You can't step into the same river twice". A fun podcast if you are into that kind of content.

1865: a podcast with my favorite presenter, Dan Rubenstein (so smooth voice), that is a dramatized re-telling of the events after the attempted American coup of the Lincoln assassination. Comedy Podcast Rec: All Fantasy Everything (AFE). The premise is they set up a fantasy draft of a different topic every week. Some examples are: "who do you want on your side in a fight", "words that you think make you sound smart", and "childhood crushes". However, I will note, that there are frequent inside jokes that relate to previous episodes so although you're absolutely able to jump around episodes to listen to the draft topics you are most interested in, there are also inside jokes you may have missed out on in an episode you skipped. Edit: AFE is notorious for having l-e-n-g-t-h-y free-form banter at the start of the show that can often times feel bloating to the already long episode time so it's not uncommon to skip forward to the draft if that's your preference.

I dont know if youre into physics or astronomy but id like to recommend the podcast Startalk. The astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson answers questions about the universe and everything in it that everyone has had and each episode you either learn something new or you learn something about something you thought you knew. Sometimes its about the sun, sometimes its about big numbers that the human brain cant really grasp because we just dont deal with them in our daily life. Its a great mix of comedy and science and I always enjoy listening to it.
