Haha I apologise for the mistake! This must be rectified immediately, you are right! Would definitely be up for a chat - I am a big fan of your work. I saw the title and for a moment got that feeling you get when you’re called into the head-teacher’s office 😂 Thanks for the great feedback - learned a lot as always. And I really like that Gorilla row variation. Oh and the Dan John thing is because he actually commented on my goblet squat video saying “I wonder who invented this move” lol. Keep smashing it, man! I’ll try and hunt down your email once I’m back in the office, tomorrow 🔥💪🏻

Gregory, another nice video. I want to ask something, when you do the press or even jerk, is there any benefit of lowering the weight back slowly, like resisting instead of quickly rack it?.. I've been doing this now for 2 weeks, as a beginner with 20kg bells and it adds something I can't explain. I tried it when I saw Dr. Mike from Renaissance Periodization kept mentioning it on different videos when he reviews different celebrities workouts... In other news, it has been 3 months since I joined the gym and I'm doing extremely good, thank you for all the videos, they helped me immensely!!!

Been watching you and Angie for 2 months. Thank you for the great workouts and unpacking all the mechanics. I've been able to a KB workout before every WOD. I needed to step away from the bar due to SI joint issues. You've opened up a whole new world for me. My lower back is great, my core is stronger and way more activated, my shoulders and traps look more armored, my burpees and other stuff have new oomph. I'm a convert. Thanks for your work!

Well down on the front squat explanation, and outlining the elbows closer to the body. Additionally, I appreciate you mentioning the front squat is nothing like a back squat(you were very polite in your briefing) as it is far more taxing on the core.

I have to disagree on the halos... I used to have a lot of shoulder pain and clicking with presses. Nowadays I do halos with a light bell (16kg) as a warm-up, it really improved my shoulder mobility, and the clicking and pain are gone. I know there are some other shoulder warm-up/mobility drills, but it definitely worked for me.

Get him on the pod soon! I think a great selling point for the kettlebell is that you get that bodybuilder pump and runners high at the same time. I didn’t come up with this, I read or heard it from a channel or site. Wish I could remember who it was.

Lebe Stark thumbnail: "DAN JOHN DENIES THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE!" Lebe Stark video content: "Dan John says he personally does not suggest a heavy Turkish getup for the performance athletes that he coaches" I do appreciate that you immediately drop the pretense after the clickbait. The clickbait gets us in the door, and you open the video by rolling your eyes and acknowledging the fact that you had to do it

You should be honest, it is not true with only 30 min workout per week getting in shape. There is whey more , you need to realize , the food , people with trauma. Please be honest it is NOT only the training and of course not 30 min per week. 😂😅
@rudygomez6511
@rudygomez6511 13 күн бұрын
Ridiculous how comments like this are made without thinking. He's talking about the TRAINING aspect. If you actually watch his videos he encourages research backed methods to healthier eating habits. Also, trauma doesn't make you gain weight, it derails your discipline which tends to make you train less, or eat more, etc.
@nomadr1349
@nomadr1349 13 күн бұрын
Of course not. But 30 mins per week will bring you closer to shape than 0 minutes. A long path starts with a small step, and 30 minutes are a good start. A moderately heavy kettlebell is an excellent tool to start, for it is a lot of fun.
@MisterGames
@MisterGames 13 күн бұрын
One person wants to Begin to get in shape. They are presented with 2 message. Message one says Start with just 30 minutes a week (which to me is 3 sessions of 10 swings EMOM). Message two says, you are going to need 16 hours a week and blah blah. Welp, i am busy, i think i will START with the 30 thing and see... And my doubting friend, we have just got someone's journey started instead of discouraged. When you understand there are people who cannot do a single pushup, we need something to get them going for their own sake.
