They should send out a message to the Terran Alliance stating something along the lines of please open talks between our civilizations before attacking. That may save them from the incoming storm.

Why should the TA grant them a treatment that they did not get from them in the first place? Treat others like you wish to be treated by them. The thieves got a slap on their wrist, and they realize that this was only the beginning of their punishment.

But one big element is missing. The Sxxx hitting the fan real world is not getting deserved play. Write stories that inspire the men of today to do what is right no matter the cost.
