1) The Necromicon is a fictional book mentioned in Lovecraft stories. 2) Abdul Al Hazred is a fictional character with a fictional name and not a real middle-eastern name, Lovecraft mentions several times that he purposely chose "Haz" and "Red" to make the character sound dangerous. 3) The Necronomicon sold in book stores and amazon is a 60s New Age mash of wiccan "spells", the book was named Necronomicon and is not the ancient tome Lovecraft mentions in his stories.
