Josh and Mikai Geronimo actually. They're like a duo, I'm surprised only one of them was listed. Mikai is one of the most singularly talented animators I know.

@@SchatzInaoriginal Thanks for the correction! They were both listed as "director," but later it says "Visit the animator's website!" and since the domain was just Josh's name, I assumed it was just him.

@@quietcorvidae Ah you're right! I'm glad she's listed as director. Now that I think of it, I don't think she has her own website, so that's probably why they linked his. So what would that theoretically look like via plannets on the density of our planets on the milky ways arms? Would it shift moons? Planets? Also, the galaxy's formation has already been around for billions of years already. What's to say that this change isn't possible sooner than we could think? Just food for thought. I often have a lot of big questions like these because I am curious.

I greatly appreciate how this was explained, as complex concepts such as Space is challenging for my poor banana brain hahah. So, if our Milky Way and Andromeda merge and such, assuming that life (flora and/or fauna, microbio, anything etc.) is still existing at that point, what happens? Will it impact the gravity of the planets? Or change their orbit trajectory around the Sun? I am just genuinely curious :-)
@thenovicenovelist2 ай бұрын
It's difficult to tell, but more than likely the solar system won't be dramatically affected due to the vastness of space even within the galaxies. The night sky might look different, but unless something weird happens it's unlikely to affect the solar system (although there's still a chance). What's more likely to happen is humanity won't be alive on Earth when the merger happens because in 5 billion years the sun will be a red giant and will be engulfing most of not all the interior plants including Earth. And 1 billion years from now the sun will have grown so big that Earth will be too hot to live on, so humanity needs to find another planet or moon before that happens.

Imagine how easier is to get from a planet to another in the center of the milky wave. Maybe there its easier to create extraterrestial life. Im thinking about this thanks to the “density waves”, closer to the center they are stronger if im not wrong. Anyway, im no expert, just trying to have a talk about it :D

Of course in the first part i mean closer than us to the center. The center is too dense lmao

I've heard that the Milky Way will not collide and merge with the Andromeda Galaxy. This should be because of companion galaxies that have not been part of the simulation before and make a huge difference. So the egg-shape at the end is uncertain. Btw did you know that egg and eyren both described the same just a few hundred years ago? Now the word eyren has vanished. Maybe I am watching too much KZbin.
