I heard that Twins who go through emotionally distress early in their lives tend to mirror one another. This is a coping mechanism because TWIN A and B experienced trauma together, so they do everything in sync in order to comfort each other.

They were being treated just like everyone else until it became obvious they were having issues. Once it became evident that they would not grow out of this stage and that they obviously needed help they were given the resources that were available at the time to help them. The 70s/80s were a different time, especially in that area. Sure, if they had been born in this day and age they probably wouldve been given better treatment but still, they were loved, they were never abused.

When I was in high school I was bullied in my first 2 years , I had to leave school 10 mins before and arrive 10 mins later so I wouldn’t have to come into the school gates with the bullies. Diddnt understand why at first but when I left this school i found out it was because I was stronger than the people who tried to bully me so I hurt them, people used to challenge girls to fight with me because I grew up with 8 brothers. Basically the school had to protect the bullies 😂 I still laugh about this. When I moved to my new school after the 2 years people heard stories about my fights from the other school and no one would try and pick on me so I had an amazing 3 years in my second school ahah thank you bullies !!!!

These kids moved to three of the whitest areas of the UK! Hardly any wonder they experienced a lot of bullying. The air force should have shown more consideration to where they stationed the girls' father, given his ethnic background and the highly racist atmosphere in the UK in the 70s. I don't care what the needs of the air force was, they had a duty of care to their servicemen, not just for their own sakes but also for their families', and they should have acted on it.

There seemed to be racism in the seventies in American schools too. I remember learning racist songs in elementary school. I never used a racial slur. That wasn’t the only type of bigotry in the seventies in America. There were other types of kids that were discriminated for being different like homosexuals, Jewish and other races besides black kids. The teachers would put on an act that they were tolerant. The real bigots were the adults of the school not the kids. They tried to brainwash us. I was the only kid who wasn’t phobic of developmentally disabled kids and just about everyone else. I was the only living being from my school who wasn’t prejudiced against anyone. I am just tired and exhausted with people and kids who show hostility at me for not raising their egos as high up as they wanted me to. Kids wanted me to look up to them and they looked down at me at the same time. No one is nice. There is no such thing as a nice person.

And they put them on opposites sides on the facility and they did the same thing at the same time without seeing each other. One would starve and the next day the other would starve and they would be in the same position every day. And when they were younger they would start to envy each other, June always envied Jennifer and Jennifer started to realize so they grew a quiet hatred with each other. It became very unhealthy. And also, I believe June And Jennifer believed they were meant to be one person so in order for them to lead a normal life, One couldnt be alive. They thought they were one person living as two people. They knew that the whole reason their life was falling apart was because there weren’t meant to be two. They had to get rid of one.

They both went through having a speech impediment and facing the same trauma which caused them to withdraw from social contact; therefore, having the same experiences plus being twins it only seemed right that they develop the same mechanisms and behavior. They pretty much felt they were living one life with two bodies. It was hard to just develop their own lives at the point of them coming to that realization. Which is why they started to hate and resent one another, because they felt trapped. They were so used to being around one another that they got lonely when seperated, but once they were together again the resentment was back. It was like an endless cycle of torture which is why it came down to the thought of one of them having to die for the other to live a normal life.

Becka Courtney Well she said, "Psychopathic personality disorder," which is actually known as, "Anti-social personality disorder." But ASPD and DID are two different personality disorders (a type of category of mental disorders). It's possible for someone to have both but it doesn't sound like they had DID. DID patients literally switch to a completely different person in their mind. the twins were sort of completely in sync with eachother and totally detached from society. They had their own world and constructs
@rebekahhakeber50936 жыл бұрын
My mother in law suffered DID. Sadly way to familiar with it. It’s dangerous as hell for the rest of society. Having said that ASPD is almost never a solo diagnosis. Many of the terms have changed since the 70s and 80s.... for example bipolar disorder used to be manic depressive. Etc etc. read into these twins and you will find they most definitely suffered DID as well. I watched the documentary after I saw this video as I was unfamiliar with the twins and wanted to know more. Personally I believe their behavior pretty much explained the plethora of mental health issues they had. Very strange all the same.

Almost unbelievable. There's something very strange that we regular humans don't know that these twins did. They were literally in unison their whole lives. Even so much as that when they were separated they would be found frozen in the same position. Somehow they could communicate telepathically. And they had some sort of power. To decide when one would die, and then they died naturally. Unbelievable. I'm fascinated I'm going to do more research on this. There is something amazing to be learned here. If we only knew what was going on...
