If you want to know if Paul McCartney died in late 1966 and was replaced it's very easy to do. 1. To have an open mind you must first rid yourself of the idea that it would not be possible. 2. Don't assume that because 99% of people think it's ridiculous, that means it can't be true. 3. Take into account that in the early 60's at the height of Beatlemania, The Beatles were probably one of the UK's biggest exports earning £millions for the British Exchequer, and if all was well would continue to provide £millions more in tax revenue. 4. It's impossible to exaggerate just how popular the Beatles were and how talented they were also. When you watch them performing in the early 60's the affect they had on their mainly female audience was electric, and that was mostly down to the chemistry between all the band members and especially Paul McCartney. Paul had a very confident yet humble way with him that made him very likeable. Even during interviews around that time he was so smiley and witty and there was just this aura humility that surrounded him. 5. Study all the performances of the Beatles from 1963 until late 1966 and pay close attention to the way they all interact. They had been playing together as a band since they were 15 and younger in Georges case. Everything on stage came so natural to them, that even if a mistake was made it never showed. None of them came across as a leader, they were very sharing on stage, and all of them had their own unique style. When John and Paul sang together at the one microphone you could tell the strong love and admiration they each had for the other. 6. In 1966 the Beatles conquered America, but really they were just getting started. Suddenly they announce that they are stopping touring and spend the next 3 years, more or less out of sight in the recording studio creating as many albums as possible. They did come out in 1969 and did a 40 minute concert on the rooftop in central London. If you study this concert especially all their mannerisms you can see that there's something missing. The magic is gone and when you look at the one playing the bass guitar you can see that it's not the same Paul McCartney that drove the fans wild in 1966. He's trying his best but the likeable aura that Paul had is missing, it's clearly a different person. 7. The family of James Paul McCartney must have been persuaded or coerced by Government officials to go along with the charade, it had to be the Government or it would have been investigated, because unless sanctioned by them, I would imagine that taking someones identity would be illegal. Jane Asher was probably hired to continue her relationship with the new Paul, to assist with the whole process of convincing the world that Paul McCartney is alive and well, contrary to the rumours. You can clearly see the new Paul in photos with Jane during 1967 and 1968. 8. It must have been horrific for everyone involved, The McCartney family lost their beloved son and brother, The Beatles lost their beloved Paul, Jane Asher lost her lovely boyfriend but as far as the world was concerned we lost nothing because we didn't know. 9. The most disgusting thing about this whole episode is that by hiding Pauls death from the world, he never got the recognition he deserved. He was loved by so many and yet no tears have been shed, bar those of his family and others in the know.

The Billy's Back book contains too much information about him been dead but it is written in a way as described as "masterfully speaking". Also notice how the beatles did not do any open air concerts after Sep. 1966. The self published book "The Memoirs of Billy Shears", if it's false - then why didn't McCartney's lawyers put a cease and desist order on it? It also uses several lyrics from the Beatles' back catolgue(again needing legal clearance), and lastly, several other musicians are mentioned in it(e. g. The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Donovan, etc.) - so if it was false, why didn't they they sue the author and publisher?

OK. Well, "OG" Paul could play the piano (and the electric one), the guitar, the bass and the clavichord. Also, many have confirmed that Paul's father had a jazz band in Liverpool, so it isn't out of the question he knew how to play the trumpet. In addition, after stopping touring (or even before that), Paul could've honed his drum skills. BTW, I'd like to watch an evidence of "Faul" reading music.

This video covers a lot, but they skipped one detail about the Abbey Road cover. Paul is out of step with the others. While he leads with his right leg, John, Ringo and George lead with their left legs. There used to be a lot of good videos on this subject on KZbin. Seems like they've thinned them out some, however. Rumble still has many of them. Most of the ones on Rumble are in agreement that the real Paul did die in 1966. There is much evidence to that. And so many books have been written on this. If you ask me, from all of my research of much of the material out there, I'd say that he is indeed dead. It just all makes sense. They simply had to keep this money-making band going.

After all, if "Life is just a bowl of cherries", why is there a bowl with no cherries in it on the cover of the 1970 McCartney album? When you die and go to heaven, you get your WINGS. Flowers in the Dirt, like in a graveyard. Everyone there is waiting for the day of the Resurrection when they'll fly "Off The Ground". If you look that up you will find both Vivian and his wife died in 1995. Appears in Maui Al mystery tour. Look at the KZbin video of Day Tripper and look at Paul, then tell me that Paul looks anything like the Paul McCartney on the inside of Srgt pepper. Height differences between 1964 Paul and 1967 on Paul Read Memoirs of Billy Shears and the updated Billy's Back We have been conditioned to the Paul we know for over 56 years. I will say, the guy who replaced the original Paul, is much more talented in every aspect of the music industry and instruments he can play. So don't so easily dismiss that it didn't happen. I never knew Paul was replaced until 2017 when I started watching podcasts on the subject. I now see the sadness after 1966. I feel the difference in presence between the two different Pauls. 62-66 Paul had beautiful eyes but they didn't carry thru & no-one could change that much even thru age but we'll have to decide for ourselves what is true or not & the only Paul I grew up with was from 1970 to the present. there are far more photo comparisons of pre-66 and post-66 paul where he looks effectively identical than not, and even the ones where he looks different can be explained away by many completely ordinary things (lighting, angle, zooming/cropping, focal length of the lens used, color or lack thereof, paul aging, paul getting thinner, paul getting a haircut, or all of the above). if you're already primed to believe that paul was replaced in 1966 with an impostor then you'll use anything you see to confirm what you already wanted to believe, but when researched objectively there isn't any evidence whatsoever. and yes i've researched very thoroughly into everything that isn't silly song lyric analysis. nothing brought up stands to any scrutiny, and very little of it is based in reality at all.

There are too many contradictions after 1966 that collectively have not been resolved. I have doubts pro and con. If this isn't Paul it's the slickest body switch in history. After 1966 it took "Paul" several years to learn to play his instrument left handed again. That and a host of other oddities leave questions. I remain in limbo but it's nothing I lose sleep over it. Still, it's a decades long mystery.
