So while I don’t remember this I’m almost sure that this was on my tv on a lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon playing in the background while I was drawing or playing with my toys in the living room…memories of days long past.

I read this novel and Kidnapped in the ending 80s and early 90s at age 15 in Nigeria. And i love it. I got inspired by reading it and absorbed in it and found myself composing shorts crime books at the end of 90s without a University or further higher education which was actully beyond my reach because of poor background. People still wonder how i could write a book without the needed training! I got my ideas and Inspirations from Robert Luis stevenson. He was a great writer. Many scenes are missing in this acting but those that did this, are worthy of thanks. A great effort.

These always showed in the holidays back in the 70s and early 80s. This one was a particular favourite and had a better script than most other adaptations including the live versions

This looks like a Hanna-Barbera cartoon.
@eponymousviewer84972 жыл бұрын
I'd consider it as well. Similar to Scooby doo in the stiff animation work. It is similar to the 1971 Treasure Island Adaptation.
@Launchpad052 жыл бұрын
@@eponymousviewer8497 Yeah, most of Hanna-Barbera's output from the 70's can look pretty stiff, and this looks about on par.

I think this is Rankin Bass or Burbanl studios.
@Launchpad052 жыл бұрын
@@ninojajcinovic No, that's not Rankin/Bass. If it was them, the animation would've been farmed out to Top Craft. A Japanese studio that split off into two studios. One being Pacific Animation, the other is Studio Ghibli. Also, Jules Bass just passed away recently.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day. Can you upload the entire WOR Holiday Movie Special featuring King Kong and Godzilla movies? I’ll feel like a kid again.

Wish I could. Toho very strict on Gidzilla copyrights. Same with King Kong.

@tapthatt2012. Come on, King Kong movies today (11-28-19), and then Godzilla movies tomorrow (11-29-19). Starting at 1:00pm, NYC time. Then remove it afterwards to avoid any beef from YT. I would be very appreciative. 😄
