The team behind a beloved pub near the city centre have just opened up a new neighbourhood café that aims to be anything but a greasy spoon.
Leo and Roobs is situated next door to The Black Friar in Salford, and will serve up a selection of contemporary brunch dishes, including steak and eggs and house-made crumpets, alongside a range of artisanal coffees and baked goods seven days a week.
Housed in a former letting agents, the café says it uses local and artisan products, with the likes of its bread, cookies and brownies all made on site.
Neil Burke hopes the café will help have a positive impact on the area, like the Black Friar pub, which he took on three years ago.
