"The Black Book of Arda", best book I've ever read, best fanfic I've ever read, great book, I recommend it, it's Russian by the way, the only english translation is translated from Portuguese, so probably not that good, But if you look for it on google you'll find it, Great read on Portuguese, don't know if it is in english, Good luck

I give you an A - on this.... First approaching this from Morgoths point of view is awesome.... And it helps people to understand an opposing view by doing a type of dialectic thinking.... By telling the story this way people are allowed to enter into the mind of Morgoth and you do this very solidly... And I commend you for that... I also applaud you for the visuals and the storyline itself.... Morgoth is my favorite of all of the powers Ulmo and Olorin being nearly aa much... That being said it seems like the story was repeated in the beginning which was irritating.... And leaving out the war of the powers and your capture is very irritating.... In my opinion if you're going to tackle such a subject like this from the point of Melkor then you should have done it in stages meaning part 1 through 3 or at least part 1 and part 2.... That way we can get the complete mindset of Morgoth... So yeah there's room for improvement but I gave you a A- but it's not A+ due to the facts stated and not partitioning this into one or two or even three sections in taking more time... However your efforts are deeply appreciated 🙏🏻 keep up the good work 👍🏻

One thing I don't get - why did Eru Iluvatat choose for the elves to awake in middle earth, where they could immediately fall prey to Melkor? It doesn't make sense. Why not have them awake in Valinor, meanwhile capture Melkor and his minions and then reveal a middle earth to the elves free of melkor's taint? It's like from the beginning, the odds were stacked against them. And yet, the valar are supposed to love the elves.

You need to re-read the silmarillion again.... It was woven into the theme... So it was pre-made
@fred2009726 күн бұрын
@stevemiller4494 then in rings of power, all the inconsistencies people point out there must've been pre-made too

@@danf.4620 yeah but nah... thanks anyway, but didn't that hunter dude Onwe specifically go to the elves to bring them back to valinor because they weren't safe in middle earth. I do see what you mean - pre-destination vs free will. But just think, if the elves had woken up in valinor instead of middle earth - and if Melkor hadn't been released, there never would've been any orcs. But I don't pretend to be an expert on Tolkien. Ty very much for explaining 😊👍

Okay, as a lifelong (at least the last 45 yrs or so) Tolkien fan, I've always had a soft spot for the two greatest sons of The One. I'm also a fan of the YT channel: "Numernorean." Now, I don't know of the ownership of that channel are the same, but even if; why go ans make a copy-cat video of their "Melkor POV" production? Cmon! Y'all have enough creativity of your own to be doing this. I've loved your channel as well and my criticisms here are of the constructive kind. If I had not been enjoying that one for the last couple of months, and if all his interactions with Ungoliant were accurate along with the timing of events like her going with him to Formenos; I would've thoroughly enjoyed this one. This was a bit too rushed and in the beginning, you repeated everything about the "Ainulindule." 🤨🥺

Hey, no, it's not the same, but I believe that like mine, the vast majority of channels about Tolkien are written and scripted by the same AI. Even giving different commands and ideas, the text may end up being similar, mainly using the same database and references.
@lLadyAszneth27 күн бұрын
@TalesOfTheRing - okay. I'm not going to pretend I understand anything about AI, but having absorbed the other video, I couldn't help notice the similarities. My criticisms were constructive and no "hate" on my part. As I said, I've come to appreciate the efforts put forth by your channel, and this one just rubbed me the wrong way, regardless of how the production was finalized. I suppose after the disaster of the Rings of Power show, my initial reactions to what feels like a total disregard for the great man's work is always near the surface. But again, your videos, by and large, I truly enjoy, and ultimately, I wish for only your continued success. Thank you for your reply. Take care. 😊👍
