Black Ops 6’s campaign is such a breath of fresh air compared to Vanguard, MW2, and MW3 and it’s not even close, the gameplay feels fresh especially with the stealth mechanics and while the story is not the most satisfying in the franchise it fits with the Black Ops universe very well and develops it’s characters from previous titles in a unique way. This was certainly one of the more unique campaigns, we can definitely say that.😂 It feels like some of the concepts in BO3 were reused but in a good way. Like the acid trips actually make sense within the story and are incredibly interesting design choices. The only thing I can't figure out was the voice inside Case's head. My best guess is that its Harrow considering she says, "Case, it's me" once he starts choking her to death. I can't think of any other reason why she would say that, but I'm unsure. But see, this is what I mean. This game makes me ask questions and keeps me guessing. That's what good stories should do.

I thought the campaign was very good but the ending was really lackluster especially trying find the 3 different shards of the mirror that kind of sucked, and the zombies mission was fun but really felt like it went no where because the whole thing seemed like a bell situation with case where you don’t know if he is on your side or not but ended up still being the “good guy” at the end.

Who tf even is Case? They didn’t even bother giving him background, exposition or even any sort of explanation
@whenallelsfails213 күн бұрын
@@jakesevere9165i mean they gave him a background, he's a supersoldier made by the main antagonist group of the game, pantheon. He's the first and only test subject of the cradle, which was a failed supersoldier experiment turned biological weapon. It ties in well with the main players in the plot and opens a lot of doors question wise. Problem is none of those questions get answered because the ending was rushed nonsense and so case never developed past the "establishment" phase. Imagine him being a secret winter soldier operative made by harrow to kill off cia agents behind the scenes and he just never remembered or something. It would make her voice over in the zombie mission make sense and it would add a compelling narrative hill for our MC to overcome. Killing his creator. That reveal and a final mission at the capitol building disabling the bomb/sacrificing ourself would have made this ending so good, so easily. Just my opinion though.
@jakesevere91653 күн бұрын
@@whenallelsfails21 yeah i get what you're saying but they gave him his backstory through exposition and the game explaining it to you like "hi player here is the character you control named case. he is a super soldier and was made by the antagonists who are bad". like no discovery by the player at all. even in his mission where we realize what happened to him, they introduce this massive plot point and don't touch it ever again. totally agree with your opinion on how it should've ended too. so much wasted potential.

@@Gabe_EDITZ-vy8bs Those two are actually pretty good in the gameplay and characters wise ngl. For the MW3… eh… yeah…

@@psychogamer7213 yes…I never knew why mw3 got hate until seeing gameplay. I always like to give cod games a chance until saying it’s horrible…but I knew I wouldn’t enjoy the game 💀

Anyone else find The Voice inside Case’s head kinda relaxing? I know it was Harrow. She can do an ASMR session and I’d listen to it😂

The story was all over the place, non threatening villain side characters that I didn‘t care about. The main plus of the campaign is that they tried new stuff, A for effort but D in reality

I agree I don’t why people saying it’s good. The rushed the villains backstory at the end. I didn’t even care for her sad story. I only met her like three times and I also didn’t really care for the main characters past. They try to rush that at the end of the last three missions

Would of preferred a game focused on Woods mindset of being in a wheelchair chair and his relationship with Marshal and Adler. I didn’t appreciate the zombie crap and villain origin bs.

This is honestly a good game. Nice story, good characters, great gameplay, and honestly some inventive twists. It's not the best thing ever but it does present a solid standard for new games going forward.

Patrolling the mines of Hoxes IV almost makes you wish for a “why is deep rock galactic so awesome!?” Video by the act man. Can I get a rock and stone lads!?!?!?

I really thought veteran was too easy, it surprised me the start of this video with the montage of deaths, the only big issues were the 2-3 Juggernauts, and when the armored enemies spam rc-xd minis; either way it was definitely an experimental campaign, but it was one of the more enjoyable ones in the last decade.

Easily the best campaign in the series in my opinion every mission is something different it never becomes boring

Bo2 was better, but bo6 had the strongest first half in the series, without a doubt.

its the honey moon phase I'm sure the more u play it ur opinion might change idk i dislike cold war but i think that campaign is better and I would even go wild and say the infinite warfare campaign had a better story than bo6

Lot's of stuff inspired by Chernobylite, Spec Ops the line and similar psychological terror shoorters… Nice!

Just doesn’t hit the same as Cold War. With CW the atmosphere of the 80’s and the Cold War was palpable and set the tone for the entire game. With B06 the setting hardly feels relevant at all. The open world aspects were tedious, boring and feel so forced to justify their warzone/dmz fetish. The MK Ultra stuff was way too convoluted and fantasy based. Too many zombies and bosses. The mannequin mission was definitely a highlight though. Too little Adler in favor of the good ol’ Strong Female Antagonist. But wait she’s actually just misunderstood you guys! Also, introducing a massive plot line with Case’s backstory and brainwashing and never touching on it again felt strange and anticlimactic. Ending was rushed. We knew next to nothing at all about Case and I’m supposed to be sad he sacrificed himself? Fun campaign but nowhere near as good as Cold War. 7/10

I love that the development team clearly brought their a-game, poured a lot of passion into unique levels that they could just barely get away with, and introduced some fun mechanics all in service of a game that is above average.
