The Black Series Knock Off Hardcase, Jesse, and Appo!!!

The "Appo" figure with the micro binoculars is actually based on a seperate character from the Star Wars Dark Times comics called Commander Bow. The alternative Appo figure Aliexpress created without the binoculars is also based off Appo's appearance in The Dark Times comic series. Literally the only difference between Appo and Bow are the binoculars.

That Appo design with the pauldron and macro binoculars is from old legends comics that take place after order 66 as well as an older 3.75 inch Hasbro figure

It sucks that the knock offs cost almost as much as the legit black series, what would push me to buy a knock off is if it is much more cheaper, but this isn't the case. I remember Alliexpress has 13th battalion and mace wundu's troopers but i got the official ones cheaper due to promos. The 13th was on sale around Thanksgiving time for 18.99 and the windu ones at Walgreens were on sale for 17.99. the prices on Alliexpress makes it hard to justify when you can get official figures cheaper. I know they haven't made these specific clones, but still cannot justify the price for a knock off

I would say when it comes to some of the rare exclusive clones like the Ahsoka clone you mentioned, hasbro chose to make them store exclusives and nearly impossible to find. You can now only find those figures for an extreme markup on the aftermarket,. For that reason. I think it is also fine to go with these. Hasbro already made their money and are losing out by not having them available to purchase

These are not made from Hasbro's molds. They created their own tooling cast off a Hasbro figure. The ethical issue is strictly a licensing issue that Disney is not getting their cut of the proceeds.

That’s not necessarily true, this is cast off of hasbro’s figure, which means it’s using they design for a clone, which they have copyrights/patents on.

Will the Jesse head fir on the upcoming arc trooper jesse figure.....was hoping you would try a head swap with the arc trooper Echo as it's the same figure more or less great video though....got me thinking about those

The helmet is glued on to the head, but if you heat it up you should be able to remove the head and swap with the arc

@@Lukenessmonster you could just pop the whole thing off the ball peg and swap it if the ball is the same size on each figure I just thought it would be more accurate than the one Hasbro put on that arc trooper Jesse that's coming out

@@scottvillett4854 the difference is the one coming out has a removable helmet with a Jesse head underneath. So if you wanted to keep that feature, you would have to get the KO version unglued
