Very funny pod lads. 🤣 I think my favourite haircut of any Rovers player has got to be Tugay, purely because he simply didn't give a shit. ''I'm old and I'm grey, but I don't care because when the referee blows his whistle to start the game in five minutes I'm going to make you look absolutely stupid.'' That kind of vibe. There was a good interview Mark Noble did on the radio a few years back where he described coming up against Tugay for the first time. He was warming up with his laces undone and the West Ham players were all thinking; 'Who invited Grandad for a game of football?!' Tugay went on to play them all off the park. He was simply operating at a different level to normal players and his hairstyle often reflected that. Squeezed in a couple of cigarettes at half-time as well. I think one of the healthiest indicators the squad is currently in a good place is that we have a genuine dilemma when it comes to midfield, forward and wide options. There have been times in the past where our strongest eleven would have pretty much picked itself. But now, there's probably 17 or 18 players who could plausibly start for us and you wouldn't bat an eyelid at whichever combination the manager goes for. It's a good problem to have. We actually have some depth. Which two start out of Travis, Tronstad and Baker? It doesn't really matter because they're all excellent options. We can rotate them as we see fit. Your commitment to diving into the stats Mike is commendable - and long may it continue! David Goodwillie! That's a blast from the past. I'd almost completely forgotten about that pillock. Or perhaps it's David Badwillie that we have to call him these days.

Thanks for another good watch, Vale Vs Nuttall is interesting since not many young strikers. Couple of stats one easy one more difficult. Nett cost per goals including resale and points per 90 played would be interesting.

Never forgave Sam Gallagher for Preston at home when we got relegated and instead of killing time whilst in the corner he lost the ball and Preston scored. We got relegated by a point two games later. Should never have signed him. Putting up with him after that for 5 years was absolute torture and Gueye has done more in five games than he did in five years. Rubbish
