Hmmmmm......3814. Where have I heard that number before??? 🤔 🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣 You know I love that 201 right off the bat. Paducah rebuilds are my favorite motors. I sure miss mine. And to find out it belongs to the Garden City & Western...very interesting.
@LouisianaRailProductions2 жыл бұрын
Perhaps a humble shortline in Louisiana? I love Paducah rebuilds as well. Honestly considering making an entire video dedicated to them.

Great video of the Blacklands Railroad Bishop, pal! I hope to see them one day. Also, if you're on the Speedway, be on the lookout for the IATDA2. NS 1070 leading.

Great video and tutorial of the operations of the BLACKLANDS RAILROAD! What a treat to get to TIDE along and especially meeting their Engineer! Love those old GEEPS and far as the paint colors on the LTEX I like the RED/GRAY but I think I like the BLUE/GREEN even better! I've always enjoyed switching duties on the rails and seems Trinity Asphalt is a BIG customer of the Blacklands Railroad. Thanks again for sharing your videos with us along with your time and effort and certainly enjoy them back here in DELMAR, DELAWARE!

I have crossed the HOB many times on 2276 and seen HOB 70 in the transload yard. I wondered what happened to it. Now I know! Thanks for introducing the operations side of HOB. I do need to get over to the depot in Henderson and see it for myself.

When LTEX 3905, 3906 and 3814 were leased to the BJRR in Mexico, the 05 and 06 got repainted as a short-lived lease by BJRR, while the 14 has a paintscheme similar to the RailTex Red worn by Central Oregon and Pacific Railroad (operation is now in Genesee Wyoming orange), after RailTex got bought out by RailAmerica, who eventually got bought by G&W. The numberboards and fonts are very similar (or maybe the same) as Canadian Pacific's.

You ought to come up to Gadsden AL watch Alabama and Tennessee Rivers RR (ATN) shortline. They run on former SAL/SCL, NC&StL/L&N , Family Lines then CSX It's in a L shape going back and forth between Birmingham AL and Guntersville AL . It's office and main yard is in Gadsden. Interchanges with CSX in Boyles Yd in Birmingham and NS in Gadsden

@@LouisianaRailProductions Check out the Alabama Southern Railroad in Tuscaloosa, AL. It’s ex-GM& O, ex-ICG, Ex-MidSouth Rail, & ex- KCS, currently leased from KCS. HQ is in Tuscaloosa on T.Y. Rogers Ave, just off 15th Street & I-359. It runs from Artesia, MS, through Columbus, MS & Tuscaloosa; & ends in Brookwood, AL, & has trackage rights over CSX into Birmingham, AL to CSX’s Boyles Yard. Locally, it services Hanna Steel & an industrial park across the river (it has the longest trestle in the nation), Hunt Oil, GAF Asphalt Shingle plant, Nucor Steel in Holt, AL; & a warehouse in SE Tuscaloosa. Not uncommon to see unit oil trains powered by CN locomotives, KCS & CSX locomotives, plus leased units & the occasional NS units in addition to WAMX units. It has two GP 38 ‘Pulling For The Tide’ units one can see. Locally, it interchanges w/the aforementioned CSX in Brookwood & NS near the Amtrak station, KCS in Artesia, MS, Alabama Gulf RR & Columbus & Greenville in Columbus, MS, In April 2011, our EF4 tornado took down the ABS Hurricane Creek bridge.
