Co-starring my dad: Which blades didn't quite make the cut? In this video we pit a breaching axe as thick as the wall of Fort Knox against a 5 foot long Kiwi style Slasher, and compare the results to a normal-ish (Ultra Edge brand) hatchet and a KaBar Becker BK9 in 1095 CroVan.
Axe vs Slasher vs Breaching Axe vs Tactical Chopper Knife - who will come out on top?!
Also check out my tutorials on dual grit sharpening.
What's a dual grit edge, you may ask?

That first axe was fine, so long as the aim is to bludgeon the tree into submission 😂

That slasher reminds me of a slender ditch bank tool/slingblade. If you could reprofile it, it'd be a dream to use clearing canes & small saplings! As someone who has a big patch of blackberries out back, I appreciate a long handle!
