Legend of Boggy Creek is actually a series of reenactments of sightings of the Fouke Monster( Which yes is basically Bigfoot). In fact most of the actors were the original witnesses. It’s actually a pretty good movie.

I found this movie more tragic than scary. It was sad seeing this group of kids slowly lose their minds getting lost in the woods.

Dead meat is in a weird phase at the moment because of the strikes they are supporting. They are doing kill counts that are weird and unordinary. They did Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared, Ice Nine Kills music videos,a musical, and the 2011 Mortal Combat game.

I remember that Target two-day sale parody. I bet the woman who was in that is very grateful that she wasn't credited and didn't have to show her whole face. 😬

33:30 That's a good point. When the original Star Trek series first came out in 1966, the Paramount execs were all kinda iffy about Spock's character....till he became popular. All of a sudden nobody would admit ever not being behind how the character was portrayed. Y'all remember all the "Brokeback Gotham" jokes made online when people found out Heath Ledger was going to play the Joker in The Dark Knight? That was till the first trailer came out, then everyone was on board.

There’s a film theory episode where mattpatt says there was no witch the whole time it was the two guys plotting to kill the female lead. Had some pretty good points too I’ll link it

Legend of Boggy Creek is a classic, it’s THE Bigfoot movie. It was made by the same people who did The Town That Dreaded Sundown, one of the better pre-Halloween slasher films.

I’m into the theory that there was no ghost or evil spirit, rather that it was the two dudes who were messing with the woman and planning to kill her the whole time.

This was my 1st found footage film back when it was released, and the only thing I was disappointed was that the Blair witch never appears 😅
@brycealthoff80928 ай бұрын
Apparently it was supposed to. The crew had a guy dressed up as the witch wandering through the woods, but they never got him on camera.

Interestingly enough, it's sequel BOOK OF SHADOWS was directed by Joe Berlinger, who by then was known for making documentaries. His most famous were the Paradise Lost trilogy. So that was another way the Blair Witch people blurring the lines between fiction and reality
