what is the different between these EVE Epic arc Missions and the normal missions??? Which should i prever to choose if i want to run missions?

The main advantage is that missions in eve don't gain you standing, they trade you standing. It's not a net positive gain, because the guys who are upset are as upset, or more upset, than the guys who are happy become more happy. The epic arcs are to my understanding, the sole exception to this. You don't just trade standing, you actually get more total standing than when you started. So if you just want people to like you more, and not want people to start shooting you on sight, you need to do the epic arcs repeatedly. Also, the rewards seemed pretty good.

The Level 1 Epic Arc (as documented in this series) is intended for new players. If you're just starting out, I recommending doing this one before moving on to regular missions. All of the other Epic Arcs are /far/ more difficult. If you want to read more about Epic Arcs, see wiki.eveuniversity.org/Epic_arcs Normal missions you can do all the time, limited only by: (1) Do you have enough standings to ask an Agent for a mission in the first place? (2) Do you have a ship that can do the mission without being destroyed by the NPCs in the mission? and (3) are you left alone by other players OR can you survive attempts by other players to destroy your ship? If you want to read more about normal missions, see wiki.eveuniversity.org/Missions

So I understand the point of constantly saving "Safe Spots", but why do you always set waypoints to stations/mission turn ins? Maybe you covered this already I just don't remember seeing it.

Your wreck bookmarks only save for each system no? Do you just remember all the systems where you've saved these bookmarks and then clear them out?

Does doing this arc give you any negative standings for killing the blood and serpentis ships?
@SeamusDonohueEVEOnline6 жыл бұрын
I forgot to check, but I believe so, yes: I think you will lose faction standings with the pirates for shooting at their NPCs. If you're setting up an alt character to gain high faction standings with the pirates, you'll want to keep this in mind.

Just did the SOE Epic Arc and I lost no standings with anyone. I gained positive standing with SOE, ORE, CreoDron, Hyasoda, Krusual, Brutor Tribe, Ammatar Consulate, Theology Council, Ishukone Watch, and Caldari.

So, if your character is *more* than thirty days old, because you only have a few minutes a week to play, other players ARE ALLOWED to grief the new player, even if they only have a few hours of in-game-time? Yeah, there is a reason why player retention is so low on this game. It would be far better to count the time "in game" rather than the real world time passing. Someone who has twenty four hours of play time in one real world months time isn't going to have had time to learn much compared to someone who has 500 hours in one real world months time. And it's not like the "help" channels are much help, since those are used for griefing, too.

@@whosthetank777 I play on legendary, unmodded, using no exploits. You use mods that make things easier.
