hey! I literally just started using this build yesterday! Absolutely love it, and its so weird because my first instinct with bleed stuff is to feel its too powerful, but something about the chimken wing hits just right. It’s dangerous and I have seen it oneshot, but it takes a serious misplay on the opponents part to do so… compare that to some of the other dlc stuff, and I just… I really like that its the unique heavy that makes it powerful rather than the ashe of war. It feels much more like a Souls weapon than an Elden Ring weapon. Its not flasy, fast, or anime-esque. It’s nice, slow, and deliberate, rewarding me for planning my attacks. It feels soooo good to poise through stuff and trade with overly aggressive players with a charge attack.

It's not even an instagib if you have the appropriate vigor. The instableed will get nerfed to hell regardless but I hope they at least let it keep the storm stomp into R2 true combo. Should still properly hurt on a 80 STR build and it'll finally make for a somewhat viable colossal bonk in PvP.

@@anitaremenarova6662 I actually really hope they don’t nerf it? or rather, if it needs a nerf, it’ll be in a PvE sense when and if people start jump attacking while duel wielding them. Half the draw to me is its an efficient way to bleed while two handing instead of dual wielding… and well, they’ve yet to really nerf all the ways claws or spiked fist can bleed some PvE enemies two to three times in the time it takes to get one to two of these heavy attacks off. I will be so annoyed if they nerf this things bleed build up without addressing some of the other problems with bleed in Elden Ring, and then there’s more than a few other problematic weapons and ashes that feel like they need it way more. With the slow rate From patches stuff up, Im hoping this weapon doesnt get hit any time soon just with all the other things that feel more problematic. I’ve already seen crazy stuff with bloodflame blade beast claws as an example. I don’t get how bloodflame blade hasn’t been nerfed into an unusable mess or converted into a pure flame enchant on that doesnt actually bleed. It was a cool experimental spell, but it just has a tendency to blow up in their faces in one way or another.

A slight nerf to where you need to charge it would be fair I think.Bloodflame blade is in a good spot, it doesn't actually do any damage in PvP because flat defenses just bleed. Weird that you advocate bigger weapons being able to work on bleed builds when this incantation is basically the only base game thing that makes it possible.

I'm considering duping mine, and putting all of my stats into str, and arcane to see how high I can get the bleed passive, and then see if it is worth powerstance jump atks, or if just doing charged attacks with axe, two hand tali, and lord of blood exhalation is the way

I'm working on a "flower power build": st. trina's blossom, guardian's garb (full bloom), crucible knight gauntlets, mushroom legs, shadow sunflower blossom, crucible aspect: bloom, & miranda sprout spirit ashes are the base of it. There's plenty of talismans that can work with it (and crucible incantations), but I think the theme is pretty much set.

Bloodfiend Arm is the most powerful weapon in the game. It gets the highest buildups, and highest AR of all weapons aside from the Anvil Hammer. This is going off of maximum potential stats all being 99. You can weild two of them to do absurd buildups or direct damage. It's both findable in the DLC, and farmable from Bloodfiend enemies.

The thing is with the R2 blood effect is that you have to be really close, almost smelling, the opponent to pull it off. And the AOE is quite small. That's one thing I don't like about it. Would have been more viable if the proc covered a much wider area. What about bare hits with the leg not including R2s? Do hits like that proc bleed? And if so, how much?

This is the better heavy attack, colossal bonks can't get any better. You're better off using the new fire knight colossal for one-shots given that it has zwei R2 which wins any trade ever.

You should be happy about that. Easier to deal with something you have seen a thousand times than fight against new "techniques." Also rakshasa armor is near Fashion Souls peak regardless of armor effects which is why they had to nerf it.

No. Even if it were a whole new game, it is pretty normal to reuse or slightly alter assets from the previous game. That way, you have more time and budget for stuff that actually needs to be new, like everything that isn't a random field boss with no individual importance to the world and a neat weapon ash. Making everything brand new every time would cause a much longer and more expensive development, and/or lower overall quality.
