i had a thought about the fire knight weapons also being really good with the frost infusion since it does innate fire damage and that meant it could in theory do continuous frost procs but i'm not sure if it actually does from testing it, its still really fun to dual wield the short swords though.

I dont know if youve been told by now but you can boost it even further with one of the new Physick Flask tears which puts oil on nearby enemies to make them weak to fire

Hey Lost just wanna say I love your content and I know that you and ChasetheBro collab sometimes. I've been a fan of his since 2015 now and I noticed soemthing about your play style relative to his: These days Chase actively prolongs the fight. He avoids the host like they have a plague and if he chips one thats fine. It's about the math I think. But thats modern Chase. Nine years ago he would parry most of his kills. Seven years ago he would roll catch the first one caught out as a key strategy and I know you do this too. It's part of why you're great also. But while watching this weapon showcase I realised you would do much better landing some damage on one before switching to another target. Perhaps one roll catch attempt and then just switch. Then you can switch up the switches and persist on a target longer as they wont know what to expect. In anycase, love your content ever since your madness eyed mug turned up on my screen saying "I'm Lost" XD Excellent!

You know what, with all the projectile spam in Elden Ring, a ultra greatsword 2 Hit true combo doesn't sound that bad to me. Sure, 1v1 Matches will be over quicker, but it will make Str melee build invasions fun for a while. enjoy it while it lasts, will be over soon. On the other hand, I love the Miladi. 1x fast heavy and 1x follow up light attack is my fav moveset in the game now

Can we talk about how the fact that the two hit combos be almost non existent in Elden Ring probably made the combat less punishing for casuals, so thats why you have idiots running towards you spaming R1 instead of shiting themselves with the possibility of their mistake meaning they will be two shotted AND ACTUALY HAVE TO USE THEIR F* BRAIN to play the game?? Seriously this just made me realize why i hate the pvp in this game: the fact that two hit combos never happen mean that you can get away with anything and just spam ashes of war with hyper armour, wich means any ameba with a R1 button can play the game

isn't the knights sword or something like that one that always combos with its jumping attack? Also I believe that combos are the easy way for people that rely on huge damage bursts so they can one hit their enemies instead of having an engaging fight, it's the melee fighters way of spamming a homing spell.

yeah as much as i wanted to enjoy the pvp in elden ring, there is no patch that can make things fun and fair in my opinion. its fundamentals hold it back. its mostly just running around like cat and mouse until either an insane ash-of-war connects and kills someone or the invader gets barraged with 3 massive spells / attacks at once from co-op'ers. not to mention there are like a billion buffs to be abused, and a billion healing items that everyone mostly just spawns in. basically i feel like, for the most part, pvp revolves around being able to do as much damage with as few attacks, which leads to the need to apply like 3-5 buffs and spam ash of war with running attacks here and there.

I think the r1 combo thing has been negated in the katest patch. Its also had scaling adjusted/fixed. Its still very god damned strong though.

Most of these players getting invaded were cowards. They tend to run away when alone, but suddenly foolishly brave when their partner returns. 11:23 was a perfect example. That host died prematurely because of his surge of foolish bravery when his partner returned.

God damned Bricked Up guy was maining one of my favorite weapons (Bolt of Gransax) and he didnt even try to snipe with its ash of war. As a hunter i have been decemating invaders with that while someone tankier keeps the victim distracted. There were several times when i was summoned as a hunter and when i finally get to the fight i just casually spam the charged version, many times knocking the guy off his attack or stop them while they try to gain distance or run away to heal.
