Sung by Charlie Adam’s of radio WEEU in Berks co Pa. He was 100% right with those words “we’ll not soon be forgetting a ride on the Blue Mountain & Reading.” I’ve never forgotten any of the many many trips both on the Temple to Hamburg and on Conrail. They were spectacular and the now R&N has done just a fine a job of it today. They have all been memorable

5706 ended up at a restaurant in Irondale Alabama & 5898 ended up being sold to the St. Louis, Iron Mountain & Southern.
