I saw this on another video, but the entire time Makoto had sealed Nyx away, delaying his death until graduation, Aigis was slowly watching him die because she can sense vital signs and knew that his time was running short.
@Reilly-K3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for pointing this out. I don't understand why people say that Aigis was unaware that the protagonist was dying, nor do I see how the game communicates that. In the cutscene where Tartarus is dissapated, the rest of SEES looked at the protagonist and showed warm smiles, whereas Aigis reacted with an expression of shock, and even cried. I always felt that was a pretty definitive indicator that she knew exactly what was going on during the final part of the game.
@tlayor98323 жыл бұрын
@@Reilly-K that makes it even more depressing...
@Reilly-K3 жыл бұрын
@@tlayor9832 I disagree. I personally feel that her not understanding would be the depressing take, since it would mean the protagonist is internally alone during that scene. Definitely sad either way, but I feel that Aigis having that mutual understanding means the protagonist is able to experience true connection during those final moments.

"The phrase 'Memento Mori' is not just a reminder of death. It is also a reminder of how precious life is and to live it as best as you can. Do not allow the fear or death or regrets or grief to dominate and control your life. While you cannot escape the pain of losing a loved one, your connections and bonds with the people around you can help you find acceptance and peace. Since Death is inevitable, all you can really do is make the most of the one life afforded to you." Couldn't have said it better myself. That was beautiful.

The Persona franchise actually helped me to overcome many hardships - especially one time in specific. I was in the 8th grade, and I had fallen into a depression so deep that I was considering the possibility of suicide. I was left completely in despair, and I felt like no one cared about that. I just wanted that despair to end, even if it meant ending my own life. It was around that time that Joker was announced to Smash. And my reaction was more or less like “Who the f*ck is this dude?”. After I learned which game he was from, I got curious and decided to search more about the Persona franchise. Eventually, I decided to play the games, since everyone said that they are really good. And I don’t regret doing that. Persona 3, 4 and 5 (which are the only games I played until now) each passed a message that helped me to get out of that depression and move on with my life. Persona 3 taught me that life IS painful and temporary. But you live only once. And nobody but you can live that life. So you have to make the most out of it while you still can. It also taught me that the people around me will die, and so will I. And that’s inevitable. But just because there’s no way to run away from death, doesn’t mean that you can’t live a full life. So accept the fact that you are mortal. Accept the fact that you will die eventually. Be in peace with it. And use that peace to live the best life possible. Because you are the only one that can live it. It’s for this reason that Persona is my top favorite franchise of all time.

Another Great Symbolism in the game is in the way SEES summons their Persona, the idea of teenagers shooting themselves does seem to really rub in the theme of death in the game but I feel it symbolizes Facing the fear of death in order face one's obstacles, It's more in line to what is explained here on how it's not just about the reminder of death, but accepting it and choosing to do something about it. BTW if anyone chose to kill Ryoji on 31st December, you must have really fallen asleep during the past month eh? (I think a video on the Person's of The main Cast of P3 will be interesting, consider it?)

Persona Q explains it a little further, but basically confirms what you said. It isn't so much to kill themselves, but to keep them *aware* of the fact that they *could* die. This fits in with the themes of Persona 3 being that once accepting that life is limited, you can spend it wisely knowing that one day it will end. They also hint that Evokers aren't necessarily required, but they greatly speed up and makes the process of summoning a Persona through the Dark Hour method much more consistent.

I like the story about death in Persona 3 more because it made me overcome my fear for dying and the guilt that I had, when i lost my best friend. We all die one day. Life is amazing even if it fades... That is what Persona 3s Story is all about, a group of teens who have to over come death, like Yukari and the death of her Father, same goes for Mitsuru. Or Junpei and Chidori. Ken and Akihiko, Ken lost her mother so he want to revenge her. Akihiko her littel sister, so he wanted to be stronger to protect everyone, and because of that they both lost Shinji. Even korumaru has sufferd from of Shinjis death, because he reminded him of his master how passed away. And at the end they even face death him self as the final boss, Nyx. Nyx couldnt even be killed because he is death and even if he was sealed away, he will come again. Death will come. Death awaits us all, but this is fine! As long I have amazing people like the SEES group around me. I love this game for everything that it did for me

I think there is also much to say about how the persona's of the protagonists tie in with the game. Orpheus, his initial persona, is so overcome with the sadness of losing his wife that he tries to bring her back from the underworld, but this ends up costing him his life. Then you have Thanatos, the grim reaper of Greek mythology who is said to bring death to people and thereby give them grief and sadness. But it ends with Messiah, the protagonist's ultimate persona who does the most significant thing someone can do with their life: sacrifice themselves to save the entire world.

so yea, as i understand the color of the persona 3, the blue theme of it just represents bittersweet tragedies, failures and sorrows of the characters in the game. it also shows the life of being a mortal and how they face the death of their love one (as he said on the video). persona 3 id not just symbolizes death, it also symbolize the peace in afterlife. in this series, it always reminds me that life is the thing you don't want to waste, because it's the precious thing you can have. and it always reminds me how time is limited for us to live. just a theory of mine: the style of the velvet room in the persona 3, the elevator theme represents the elevator to afterlife, where you can find peace. the clock represents how limited your life is. that's all thanks for the time to read this

That's why I predict the P6 main color is green. So we can have RGB Persona lol. RGB being the main colors. Being Green it ties with Nature, Life, Hope, Envy, Technology, Money,... And Japan as good mix of things of olde and new/futuristic, Innovation vs Tradition could be an interesting theme and fits the green motif.

Also refers to depressed, down, sad, saddened, unhappy, melancholy, miserable, sorrowful, gloomy, dejected, downhearted, disheartened, despondent, dispirited, low, in low spirits, low-spirited, heavy-hearted, glum, morose, dismal, downcast, cast down, tearful; That fits the theme of p3 and P3 Mc is consider the emo kid or emo MC. Or you go the backstory too, Orpheus and Messiah, Tartarus the deep abyss, or blue like the water, like a river, river Styx the river of the underworld and how Nyx is the Goddess of the Night mother of Hypnos, Thanatos, Erebus. So P3 is filled with greek myths and the meaning behind the color blue. And in some way, many Greek plays were tragedies, in some way P3 followed that Greek Tragedy play. @dan_man30873 жыл бұрын
I guess that is the opposite of calm and "alive" blue. While the blue represents calmness and accepting death, the reverse colour is accidic green, as something chaotic and death engulfing. The blue says "It's alright, the death is unavoidable, but you still can live", but the green says something like "No matter what you do - the death is near and waits you around every corner. Even if you are aware - you can't do anything. You will die, and threre's nothing you can do about this". The interesting part that it's like a two sides of the same coin. The green represents the death as something evil and tries to say, that all your bonds are nothing but a fluke. You'll die. Whatever you do - you'll die. Friend, family, love, enemies, feelings, the whole damn world - it all won't help you afterlive. It's "It's usless to live" in your face. The blue, on the other hand, represents the death and regret as something... normal. Yes, you will die, but this is the natural order of thing. The end of your long journey where you can finally rest. And only you can make your journey mean something. It's you who can fell, who can love, befrend, help... You can just BE. After all, isn't it live itself? Just being alive? Just a name for a Journey? And the second the most intereting thing, that suports my theory - the Japanize call "green" and "blue" colour the same way. It's "Aoi". "Aoi" means both "Green" and "Blue". Two in one. Like the unavoidability and acceptence of Death itself.
