Once again superbly read by the brilliant Mark Nelson. An entertaining story, well reflecting mankind’s ability to mess up the World and itself, published in the year I was born in 1958. Wonderful now for my old age bedtime listening!

His voice has an aura of the Original Star Trek that I watched in the 1960's as a kid. It makes me feel nostalgic.

A clever dystopian story. The air of whimsy in the writing is beautifully delivered by the narrator. Really, a hip updating of the Eloy society of "The Time Machine." Wonderful to come across this.

It took me a minute to absorb what was done to that poor man. They used his love for the way things are and turned it into a tool. Because he tried to stop them, he helped them. Because he helped them, he had to carry the load of what he done. Eve's deceit was nothing compared to the woman in the story. She must have looked good to have kept her for 30 years. She wouldn't have lasted that long if it were me, not after what she and her friends did. They would have paid a price too. Really clever book, that has a lot of hidden meanings. I'm proud to put it in my audio library.

Expendable at large! I like the way it ended, knowing that he knew what she did.

It would be nice if we could search for books by reader/narrater.

Yet another symbolically/ subliminally hilarious piece of art, is it a magazine cover?
