Great band. Saw them tons of times with this line-up and then later with Craig on lead guitar too before he joined The Smiths. Followed them about a bit across the country as well and they were great blokes. Great to see this footage. Thanks for posting

Criminally underrated pop quintet up there with Orange Juice, Aztec Camera and Josef K, Sisters is a great LP

Smiling at the comment below. The Smiths' sound was heavily influenced by the Postcard bands, who came before them.

Ian Murphy Obviously there's the jingly guitar, but I think the very clean sounding, straight played bass guitar is the most redolent feature

Red Guitars is miles better than the LP version , love that middle eight, who's that guy playing the blue telecaster i never seen him live , seems to be a character
