Three great Artists. Always loved Joan Armatrading, Early Eurthymics were one of my favourite bands and Numan, well Numan - Savage is one of the best albums of the year IMHO - The man is a legend

@Neil Foord That "leech" got Gary's career back on track to the success he's had since meeting her. Besides, I doubt very much he cares what anybody thinks about her, she's his wife and mother of their three girls. He's made no secret of complete he is because of his children.

Dave Stewart is not talking shit here, he ploughed money into my band and Warner Bros just paid no attention, he then relocated us to America and we had the misfortune of pissing off the head of Atlantic Records by having a transvestite introduce us on stage, the transvestite in this instance is now in "Orange is the new black" back in 1997 it was seen as a disgrace and Ruby who was head of Atlantic was so offended and promised to make sure we could never release a record in the U.S

What was the difference between all 3 musicians? 2 cared for others and the dearth of opportunity whilst the other looked at himself in the mirror and said fuck opportunity.
@ExternalInputs3 жыл бұрын
Actually, only one of them said fuck, and just because Dave and then Joan bought up the subject and dominated the conversation, only an idiot would jump to the conclusion Gary didn't agree with them.

One noticed Joan armatrading didn't alppaud 0:15 Dave Stewart and Gary Numan when introduced. She swears by the guitar.. From day one. And that's why she isn't bald. TBH though, her hair style does look quite wiggyfied. Synth players go bald. Fact. Peace ✌️ out people
@SpeccyMan Жыл бұрын
I play synths and, at 61 years of age, I still have a full head of hair. So much so I have to have it cut frequently. Myth busted!
