Really love how putting conservative targets can make significant profits attainable. One big struggle is passing phase 2 of these challenges: yes, these companies all have phase 2, it's the fact you need to hit the buffer amount after you pass phase 1 and get that "live" trader certificate. Plan to be in those accounts trading with no payouts for a while if using those small targets.
@brianphillips39522 ай бұрын
You need to add the cost of those accounts. It will make your daily goal a lot higher. Then you have to add tax on top of that. 3K becomes 3.5K just with Apex $50 a month for 20 accounts. Then tax is roughly say 40% on 1099 income. You need to make around 5K a month to take home 3K. It's still small, but you should include your overhead.

Not everyone is in the US, therefore their tax rates would be different and not really feasible for discussion unless with a tax counselor. For what it is the video is rather informative in my opinion.
@Caveman7872 ай бұрын
@@BarnettLLC Sure if you reasonably need to. But what he is saying it still very valid and it's logical to plan for the worst tax rate possible not the best. Ignoring the expenses and amount you should for safety hold in taxes would be bad. Worse so if you underrate how much you will owe in taxes.
@brianphillips39522 ай бұрын
@@BarnettLLC Agreed. Tax rates are different for different countries and different income levels. I think the idea is a great idea in figuring your daily target. But I would suggest adding the cost of the accounts if you are paying monthly. I actually do the opposite to this logic when I take a trade. I think how much am I willing to loss on this trade. That gives me my risk and my stop loss target. I can always chase the trade up with my stop loss if it runs.

I hope no one is paying a monthly when lifetime is $35 more, but I'm going to add taxes into my sheet. Great idea

Hey Forrest not sure if you will see this but I had a question about connecting multiple accounts. Do you have a video explaining the best way to trade multiple accounts at the same time? or how to set that up?

Great video-really appreciate the insights on creating a long-term mental map and avoiding over-leveraging. Quick question: When it comes to making all accounts profitable, do you recommend aiming for just $15-$50/day in eval accounts? If so, wouldn’t it take months to pass evals, especially considering the monthly fees and scaling with multiple accounts (e.g., Apex)? Or would you suggest being more aggressive to pass evals and then dialing it back for profit accounts?
@forrestforce2 ай бұрын
I personally would never go for a meager 10-15 dollars - that was simply to show that consistency is always in your favor. Even if you did, you would still pass eventually AND get paid out. That being said, the market offers a lot more opportunity than that on a weekly basis. Even if you took 1-3 trades a week, you would beat that with smart trading.
