This is the BMW M5 CS… And it just might be the greatest BMW M car EVER created!
But what makes it so special, we hear you ask? Well for starters, the output of the engine compared to the normal M5 Competition has been improved. The 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 housed under the bonnet now produces 635hp - so 10hp more than the M5 Competition.
Doesn’t sound like much? Well trust us, we’re only getting started! Along with receiving carbon ceramics as standard, there are a number of chassis upgrades, such as being fitted with adaptive dampers from the M8. And of course, let’s not forget that there is a whole load of carbon throughout this car, including the roof & bonnet, so as a result, it only weighs 1,825kg!

I remember 15 years ago when I first learned how to drive sedans like this were hitting 100kph in 4.5 - 5 seconds and I thought that was insane. Even super cars at the time (Gallardo’s, F430’s, DB9’s) took 4 seconds. It’s crazy to think that now family cars can do it in the same time as the original Veyron.

also ask yourself a question, are you going to track it? If not, where would you even use it's full power? Don't know where you live, but in Poland for example you get more and more unmarked police cars on highways. So big nope. And if someone's gonna buy the M5 either way, they rather don't think that much about how much it is worth if compared to lower trims. So, there is no clear answer to "is it worth it", as it is way too individual

Had a lap of the Nurburgring yesterday in this car, and wow just wow, this has to be the best M car ever. You would not believe a near two tonne, four door saloon could accelerate, brake and go round corners like this thing does, especially when your driver has had 25 years experience of the Nordschleife. Awesome, a word that is very over used, but absolutely correct in this instance. Congratulations BMW, you nailed it with this one.
