Lopetegui is clearly not a good manager. Thing is he has never really been tried and tested. He managed Spain briefly, then a short stint at Madrid, the hype around him was more due to teams he has been not his performances as an individual. He is now found out.

Never wanted lopetegui and been proved right. Moyes out was the correct decision, Sullivan pulled the plug on the Amorim deal and screwed the fans over by going for a manager no one wanted. Sullivan has a lot to answer for

Be careful what you wish for.... It is not just about the manager that the fans want, it is about a manager who can work with your board and get results with the players you can get. Moyes ticked all these boxes. Fans who want young and progressive manager forgot all about Gianfranco Zola and Steve Clarke who Sullivan sacked in his fist season. Zola played the youth, Sears, Collason, Hines, Tomkins, and Stanislas. The even brought in young players like Nouble and Savio. Young and progressive isn't Sullivans style. Better to wish for a manager the board can work with that gets results.
