Some viewers may be interested in some previous videos about Land Rovers. They're at my previous channel, Riverport Rovers.

Here is the build series about my truck. A rather modified Series II Land Rover.
bit.ly/2ziYQbv
I rather silly build and road trip to the famous Land Rover Winter Romp in Maine.
bit.ly/2zjtPUW
A slightly less silly road trip to Cape Breton that does involve painting flames on a Land Rover.

The series that started it all. A crazy plan to build a Land Rover in one day from assorted bits lying around.

There's a few other videos that might be of interest at Riverport Rovers including the beginning of a Boler trailer refit.

The very first boat picture, is of the Merry Chase. I moored next to a Merry Chase from Vancouver while I was in Prince Rupert in 1969. I was on my way to Ketchikan, Alaska in a 21 ft sail boat. I wonder if that is the same boat. She was a large fishing boat then and she was painted green. We drank a lot of wine on board her.

Spent my late teens in St Monans in Fife and saw the end of the fine tradition of JW Millers. We had one of their yachts in Troon a couple of months back. So lovely to see two of them here. Also love that the Lorraine needs no introduction.

Hi Peter. I'm living in Monkstown in Cork Ireland. It was a nice treat at 4 mins to see a Miller Fifer Ketch. Would you believe I grew up on Canadian Fifers sister ship called Thane of Fife. Amazing to see one has gotten that far from Scotland. I visited St Monance a few years ago but alas the shipyard has long since gone. Love your channel. Its my highlight every Sunday. Thanks Sean

I spent the first years of my life on the docks and beaches near Morro Bay, Ca. Then my parents abusively moved me inland. It took almost 20 years to even see the ocean again. Hopefully I'll be able to get close to it permanently at some point!

Thank you for showing us this boat show! I haven't been able to make the PT Wooden Boat Festival in a few years, so it was almost like "being home!" Hopefully I'll be back to Port Townsend and Port Angeles towards the end of this month. Hoping to have a look at some boats, and of course have some amazing food!

G’day Peter thanks for filming these beautiful boats there is something about a wooden built boat. I meant to ask you last time what varnish / sealant do you use on the woodwork to get that terrific shine and depth, I would really appreciate it thanks mate take care John

good luck with winning a trophy! One question I have is that the boat always seem to be front-heavy, especially when motoring at lower speeds. Is that intended. The waves created by the boat look to be "anti-speed" or at least "anti-economic" like somebody has a break on? Would be great to have an explanation (lie she was intended as speedboat with typically >20knts of cruising speed)

Yeah - about what can I say is that I saw only one very beatyfull bout called "New Seeker". All other boats were painted outside like fiberclass boats and I don't really understand why. Wooden boats must look like wooden boats are. I understand that steel / alunium boat are painted but paint wooden boat is mayby a North American style and I don't like them at all...
