Hi. First-time viewer. I really enjoyed your recap. Your knitting is beautiful - your husband’s sweater was a highlight for sure. Thank you for sharing your modification on sewing a button band together and the buttons on. I have a commercial sweater with a wide neck and the buttons are likely too small and flop open all the time and this would be a great fix. Off to watch your 2023 plan episode now. Happy New Year!

Thank you! I loved seeing all your wonderful knitwear, and I am looking forward to hearing about your plans for this year. I find I decide what to knit out of some yarn in my stash, then I forget what I planned! So your idea of little tags is a good idea. I have started to put yarn for a project into a little bag, and with the open end facing me on a shelf. That way my projects-to-be are in my face! Now I am going to tag them as well, or perhaps print out the pattern and include that int he bag. Happy New Year, dear Aude, and thank you so much for your lovely podcast.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year! I really enjoyed hearing about how knits fitted into your wardrobe. I also have made clothes but don’t have anything to wear them with ! It’s certainly something to consider in the future.

Happy New Year to you as well! ❤️ It is a bit tricky sometimes to make something that fits into our wardrobe when there are so many beautiful patterns out there. It’s all so tempting. 😄

Happy Hogmanay Aude. We went partying and i was destroyed next day. This older version of me do not like the combination of late night and drinks ahhahahahhaha. But it was super fun. I love seeing all your sweaters. Really inspired me to knit more neutral colors or one color sweater. I do need some of them in my life. Hope we can see each other soon 🥰

What a super review. I find these sorts of videos really helpful, seeing what the maker thinks of a project further down the line. 2023 will be my year to try an Ailbíona pattern having been wholly inspired by you.

😃 Yay!! Ailbiona really makes the best patterns! I can’t wait to see which on you picked. 😊

First time here; thank you for a delightful podcast! I am curious--the cropped "Cardigsn" in Iona wool--why haven't you made it in another color? Do you never repeat a pattern? it sounds like you really like it and I'll bet it would be just as wonderful in other colors! I'm an advanced beginner and am tempted. I'm from across the pond and went to Iona as part of a cruise some years back. We didn't get to spend as much time there as I would have liked I loved It.

Welcome! That’s a very good question regarding the cardigan. I’ve occasionally knit the same pattern more than once. I guess in this case, I just saw it as grey and it fits perfectly in my wardrobe that way. And I want to knit so many other things that I didn’t really think about making it again. Although the pattern comes with a long-sleeved version as well. I might make that one in the future. 😄

Happy New Year Aude. 🎉🎉🎉 I enjoyed your year in review. I am absolutely going to copy your idea of tagging my stash. I too get anxious with my stash and hope to knit it down by at least half this year. Looking forward to your next video with 2023 future knits.

Happy New Year Paula! I’m so glad you like the idea of tagging yarn. It really did help me getting a clearer idea of how to use my stash and it was a really fun activity. 😊

There was a hat that you were making back in September of last year September, October, that was my first that’s when I found you was with that tutorial podcast and you were knitting a hat that was garter stitch with the rib. Did you give up on that hat or how did that work out because you were choosing to do it with like it DK weight and they were doing it in two strands of DK and you chose to do it in just the one strand so you were having to you know change the size or your stitch count I was wondering what became of that hat
@bobblesandberries Жыл бұрын
Hi! I did give up on the hat. I love the pattern and will knit it at some point. But I just lost steam on it this time around. 🙂
