I saw another video that if you throw the bone caller at the mast itself, they’ll maintain the sail angle, and if you throw the bone caller in the cabin down below, they’ll repair holes

Ahoy there! Aye, there are four it looks like. They mainly involve using Bone Caller skeletons to kill various enemies like Phantoms and Skeleton Captains.

I didn’t get a single bone caller from skelly ships crates but there were some in the resource barrel aboard the ship in the canon barrel

Aye, we've been sticking to Skeleton Forts and Shipwrecks since we haven't had much luck with Fleets either. That's interesting you found them in the actual Resource Barrel on the ship though!

Yeah! It’s pretty wild! We are not sure what determines how many each person gets though. Sometimes on duo sloop we got three each and sometime we got two each.

Take the Burning Blade you can have skels until they get murdered.

Oh for sure! It's a nice distraction. Even if it is only 15 or so seconds, it could be exactly what you need to board or sink them.

@RareThief They also anchor enemy crews and if thrown at your mast will keep you in wind.

They won't attack an allied crew or thier own bone called skellys, spawn rates also apear to be higher on FOTD and Reapers.

Can they be dropped in crates from a skeleton fleet spawned using the dive system?

Yeah, it shouldn't matter how you do the Skeleton Fleet. We've had much better results raiding inactive Skeleton Forts though to be honest.

Are you sure about this? I didn't see any evidence in your video, and after doing a couple of fleets haven't seen any evidence myself, of skeleton fleets using or dropping bone callers.

The official release notes and update video released by Sea of Thieves listed them specifically. We've personally had much better luck raiding inactive Skeleton Forts. We found five at one once!
