This is one of the best journals I’ve seen! What are your dimensions you used and how many pages per signature? They are perfectly aligned with the book! Beautiful job!

Thank you for watching! I'm glad you like it! I like to use covers from old books I get at yard sales, thrift stores, etc. I reuse the paper as backing on a lot of my pockets and tags. So all book pages are tailored to the cover I already have picked out. In this case, the cover is 8.5 x 5.5 inches, so I cut down my papers to be 8.25 x 5.25(approx) inches. For a three signature book, I like to use 10 papers per signature which comes out to 120 writable pages for the book :)

Thank you for your kind words! The metal title plate is actually from the Tim Holtz Halloween collection for this year. It came with four different title plates and I just had to use The Bone Collector. :)

@cassyreif697 I use different cloth dyes for my papers! I usually make large batches of different color paper and do a water wash on them for any spare dye, then let them air dry 😀

Welcome! I found those holographic images on books I found at a local charity shop. The Encyclopedia Horrifica to be precise. I think you can purchase some on Amazon but I'm not entirely sure on thata or the books at Thriftbooks.com. As far as guidance, everything I have learned has come from other KZbin artists. ArtyMaze, Carol Laws, RoxyCreations, PaperOutpost, TreasureBooks, PinkOddBird are all fantastic and there are so many others. I have learned so much from them. Trial and error. I create and then take them apart to use for other books. Just play with what you have because junk journals can be made with anything!
