Witch's Wisdom - a Halloween Junk Journal - (SOLD!) Traditional Black & Orange

Welcome back to my third Halloween Journal for 2023! This is the Witch's Wisdom. I found a spooky witch kit from GypsyCraftery on Etsy with the traditional black and orange Halloween colors and I just couldn't resist. I think her kit is called Sinister Witch, but using the kit and JLeeLoo's Dark Witch ephemera kit, I felt like naming this journal "Witch's Wisdom" was more appropriate. After all, these ladies are just trying to bestow some knowledge!

Stunning!! Can I ask what paper you print on? I notice a slight sheen on the printed paper... is that scrapbook paper or printed on a special type of paper?

Thank you for watching, I'm so glad you like my journal. The paper is actually just plain copy paper but I use a laser printer so that process gives the paper a slight sheen. The paper can still be written on but the ink doesn't bleed when using a wet glue like an inkjet can. I get my papers printed at a local office supply store, just because they can get the colors much more vibrant :)

Thank you! I see journals that are so fat and chunky and full, with so much on every page. They are beautiful! But I think that's something the owner of the journal would do, rather than me doing it for them. But all papercraft is art! You enjoy your craft and try not compare yourself!

What's funny is I don't really associate orange with Halloween, although logically I know it is associated, however, not once did the orange stand out to me.
