Nearly got my whole yard weed free after covering weedy ground with several layers of cardboard/newspapers then 6-10 inches of mulch, after smoking ... . Now I can dig up beautiful rich black soil and refill the hole with more mulch. Because the mulch is from the local council shredding tree branches I have gained a few trees as weeds. Just I.D.'ed 1 as a mulberry after seeing fruit on it. Best thing is not having to worry about mowing/whipper sniping. I live near the coast so my soil is usually 1/2" deep over sand so I grow my veggies in big pots. Last year I staring planting in the new soil and will do more of that from now on as I'm finally getting good results. Love the channel.
