NONE OF US HAVE A WALKING ON WATER MOMENT!!! Please STOPPP comparing our human tribulations to Jesus’ super human power!! We can’t save ourselves- the water walk was a GLIMPSE of His power! He can even help us through those moments (in fact He often does) where we THINK we’ve had a “walk on water” moment. A lot is moving on our behalf in the spiritual world, largely thanks to Jesus/God/our angels. Pride & ego is what got Satan kicked out of Heaven. God MAY have a plan for Jay’s life that we know nothing about, hence keeping him around through it all. But he or any one of them can’t mistake that for their own strength/doing (to Jay’s point, Jesus IS the Devine that intervenes!). Getting out the hood or overcoming a life-altering moment PALES in comparison to what Jesus did for us in the wilderness & on the cross. God is in control & has the power to get us to the kingdom through His son Jesus Christ- not ANY of these men or anyone else watching/ listening. Thin line between analogies and blasphemy. 🛑🤷🏽‍♀️ God is good! The word is alive! Jesus is Lord & coming back with a sword! ⚔️🙏🏽❤️

The movie is extremely powerful, as Jeymes said, our people have never been accurately depicted during this time in history until now. The story does not mock God, I think racist Christian’s are using that as a cop out to avoid seeing this powerful film showing the people of God in accuracy. The re have always been false christs and people that mock God. Clarence is another example of this but Clarence has a redemption ark afterwards. It’s a powerful film.
